Paris Hilton and her team are safe after a fire broke out on the set of her upcoming music video Bad Bitch Academy from her new album Infinite Icon on August 16.

Paris Hilton took to her Instagram story informing her fans about a fire breaking out in her trailer and spreading across her set. The internet personality also noted that "everyone is safe" after the incident.

"Sadly an accidental fire broke out in my trailer on the set of my music video today. As heartbreaking as it is, I'm so thankful everyone is safe and I'm incredibly grateful for the amazing support I have around me."

In the story, she also thanked her team, including her music video director Hannah Lux Davis, and other artists including Heidi Klum, Meghan Trainor, and Lance Bass.

On August 17, Paris Hilton posted a video on Instagram showcasing the damage left by the fire. In the video, Paris walks across the trailer, showing the interior of her trailer van, which she said "smells like I'm in the movie Candyman or something." Hilton also expressed displeasure over things getting destroyed in the fire.

More about Paris Hilton's upcoming album Infinite

Paris Hilton is all set to release her new album Infinite Icon on September 6. The artist announced the release date in June after posting a teaser on Instagram on May 29. Infinite Icon will mark Paris' first album after 18 years after the release of her debut in 2006.

Throughout the last two decades, the artist has dropped singles such as Good Time in 2012, High Off My Love in 2015, and Hot One in 2023.

Her new album includes collaborations with well-known singers Sia, Meghan Trainor, Megan Thee Stallion, and others. In July 2024, Paris and Trainor announced their collaborative track Chasin during an interview with Rolling Stone. While speaking to the publication, the Paris Hilton heiress revealed that she had been working on the track for years and wanted to save it "for someone very special."

While speaking about Meghan Trainor, Paris said,

"(Meghan) put into words an experience that was so true for me; that time in your life when you find the confidence, power, and self-love, to walk away from toxic relationships and move forward in your life."

While Trainor called Paris Hilton, "the sister I always needed and when she calls me sis, I die of happiness inside."

The singer also announced a new single, on which she collaborated with Japaenese-British singer Rina Sawayama. The song, I'm Free will pave the way for her upcoming album.
