In October 2023, Pentatonix spoke about their love for the holiday season, People reported, and about their last tour, The Most Wonderful Tour of the Year, which started on November 14, 2023. Hoying said,
"Before the pandemic, we were like, 'Let's do a world tour. What could go wrong in the next couple of years?' But honestly, it was nice that our tour was so fun and our crew was amazing, we loved the show because that kept us going."
Olusola, on the other hand, shared a glimpse into his family's traditions, saying that he and his wife like to take their young daughter, Kaia, to Beverly Hills. It's his wife's "favorite place to go," because they adorn the whole place with ornaments and light. He added,
"This is [Kaia's] first Christmas where she can be really present with what Christmas can actually mean, and so I'm very, very excited for her to take that in."
The other group mates chipped in too, with each sharing anecdotes and memories they hold dear.
Pentatonix will be dropping their next album, The Greatest Christmas Hits, on October 20, 2024. The album will debut twenty-three of the band's holiday favorites and eight new songs.
