American rapper Tony Yayo has recently criticized comedian Andrew Schulz for the latter's comments about Kendrick Lamar. While appearing in an episode of the podcast Brilliant Idiots on December 14, 2024, Andrew referred to Lamar by saying:

"I'd make love to him, and there's nothing he could do about it. He'd only get to decide if it's consensual."

Tony Yayo addressed Andrew's joke while speaking to DJ Vlad on Tuesday, December 24, saying that it was wrong on Schulz's side to crack such jokes on his podcast. He explained the same by saying:

"You're dealing with real street n*ggas. That sh*t is not a game out there. N*ggas on gang time. It could just be a joke to him. But to street n*ggas, like Top and them. Them n*ggas is real n*ggas."

Tony even recalled that he had met Andrew Schulz in the past, describing the comedian as a "nice guy." He further stated that certain rappers should never be targeted in terms of cracking jokes since most of them have seen many hardships before pursuing a successful career in the music industry.

Tony mentioned the consequences of using certain phrases and added:

"People get killed for that. We older now, so of course it's silly. But to a young n*gga… It was dumb sh*t."

Speaking on Brilliant Idiots, Andrew Schulz was spotted comparing Kendrick Lamar to other artists as he said:

"No matter what he does, he's still the victim. Taylor is the biggest name in music history, yet she's the victim – whether it's her label, Scooter Braun, or her boyfriends. Kendrick's the same. Somehow, he's always the victim."

Andrew Schulz and Kendrick Lamar's problems began earlier this month

Lamar's sixth album GNX was released last month, which featured a single titled Wacced Out Murals. The song seemingly featured a lyric targeted at Schulz and it says, "Don't let no white comedian talk about no Black woman, that's law."

Kendrick Lamar's alleged diss addressed Andrew Schulz's comments about Black women in an episode of Flagrant a few months ago, as per Complex. Schulz's words hinted at the fact that a white man dating a black woman would lose his hair because of stress and grow beards since the girlfriends of such men have been assaulting them.

Andrew Schulz responded to the diss as he appeared on his podcast Flagrant and jokingly said that rappers are telling comedians to show respect to women and they have to "sit back and reflect." The Sneaky Pete star then addressed the lyric of Wacced Out Murals and said:

"Now, technically speaking, if we're going off of grammatical English, he is saying I can talk about Black women."

Schulz claimed that Lamar is praising all the white comedians who make fun of black people and added:

"They've done that brilliantly for decades, and he wouldn't want to break one of his own laws. I mean, didn't they have a character called Token on the South Park show? Which I'm sure Kendrick is a big fan of."

Andrew Schulz said that he was well aware of the fact that Lamar's alleged diss emerged out of the comments he made about Black women. He said that Lamar "got some slappers" and that although he tried to hate Kendrick's album, he could not do it since it was a "good album."

While Andrew's response to Lamar's alleged diss continues to trend everywhere, the rapper has not given any direct reply to Schulz until now.
