Post Malone has earned four nominations at the 58th Country Music Association Awards, according to the final nominees list released on September 9, 2024. The event is scheduled to be held on November 20, 2024.
Post Malone’s track titled I Had Some Help, featuring Morgan Wallen, has received four nods in the categories—Single of the Year, Song of the Year, Musical Event of the Year, and Video of the Year. The eligibility period for the 2024 awards is July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024.
According to the CMA rules:
"Singles, albums, music videos, and qualified music products for the annual show must have been released or reached peak national prominence during the eligibility period.”
Since the singer dropped I Had Some Help song on May 10, 2024, it falls within the CMA eligibility period. However, his F-1 Trillion album has missed the July 31, 2024 cutoff. The album’s success on the charts and country music airwaves might earn it some favors on the 2025 list.
Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen is the leading nominee this year with seven nods. His collab track with Post Malone, I Had Some Help, makes up four of his seven nominations. Moreover, Louis Bell, Charlie Handsome, and Hoskins, co-producers who are credited as writers on this track, have picked up three nominations each.
The list has placed Post Malone and Lainey Wilson as the third most-nominated artists after Cody Johnson and Chris Stapleton with five nods each and Morgan Wallen topping the list.
