A video of Rob Jua talking about Drake at a promotional event for his newly published book has gone viral. In the video, Rob talked about hanging out with Drizzy, Chuggs, and his team at a private party. He said:

"To watch how their team moves, and how Drake and Chubbs treat everybody good... And how Drake wasn't acting bigger than anybody, he was sitting in the corner like a regular guy, I was like, 'Ya'll I like that sh*t'."

Rob pointed out that while he often saw the artist looking good, it seemed that his team was not doing well, which was not the case with Drake's team. He concluded by saying, "I see why this guy [Drake] has success."

Once Rob's remarks on Drizzy surfaced online, netizens reacted to them. They highlighted that no one is buying into his statement, with many calling it a PR stunt. One netizen on X commented:

"PR stunt to dodge Diddy type rumors before they start"

Some netizens have called it an attempt to fix the Hotline Bling rapper's rap image, while others called in his PR working overtime.

"lol they sending everybody to help this jew fix his rap image," commented an X user.
"Let’s just remember this video when sh*t hits the fan," replied another.
"PR working OT," wrote a third one.

Meanwhile, other netizens addressed that even if Rob Jua's statement was true, he couldn't know all about the One Dance rapper from a single party.

"When you go to one private party and you think you know how they treat people based on one night especially when everyone was high & drunk...then you go to platforms to make a fool of yourself with this one story... because you knew him for one night right," posted a fourth user.
"It’s always niggas telling the world how Drake treats them. Cool he treated you nice, but he’s a piece of sh*t. Just wait until he burns you," commented a fifth user.
"this is a media stunt," replied a sixth one.

Rob Jua's statement comes months after Drake spoke about fake friends at a party

Rob Jua's statement about Drake and his parties comes months after the Wants and Needs rapper spoke out about fake friends at a party. On October 5, Drizzy joined Tyrone Edwards in Toronto at his Nostalgia Party.

While on stage, Drizzy went on a cryptic rant about fake and real friends, per Billboard, mentioning that all his real friends were "definitely in the building" at the moment. He added:

"But let me tell you that you’re going to come to a point in life where people you thought were friends, people you thought were close to you switch up. They might try to move funny with you. They might stab you in the back. They might do a lot of things to you."

The 38-year-old concluded his speech by stating that sometimes, "it’s you and you alone by yourself."

Elsewhere at the party, the Jungle rapper offered an update about his much-awaited collaborative album with the Canadian singer-songwriter PARTYNEXTDOOR. The album, whose name remains unknown, is set to drop before the end of 2024.

Another event Drake attended in October 2024 was his son's birthday. Adonis, the son Drizzy shares with French artist Sophie Brussaux, turned seven this year. The Tuscan Leather rapper hosted a Spongebob Squarepants-themed birthday party for him.

Drizzy uploaded multiple posts on Instagram from Adonis' birthday party, including some of the father and son standing in front of a Spongebob background with "Adonis 7th birthday" written in the show's typical typography.
