"Prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead"— Cassie's lawyer blasts Diddy over recent rafting, private jet pictures

Cassie Ventura's attorney responded to rapper Diddy's recent Instagram posts, where he shared pictures of a river raft and a private jet on July 5. This response comes amidst the abuse charges Diddy is facing.

In the same context, Cassie's lawyer, Douglas Wigdor, told TMZ on July 9,

“I don't think white water rafting will prepare him for the choppy waters that lie ahead."

For the unversed, Cassie Ventura accused rapper Diddy of physical and s*xual abuse, filing a lawsuit in November 2023. She alleged that he gave her drugs, showed uncontrollable rage, and frequently beat her during their relationship. CNN released surveillance footage on March 17, 2024, showing Diddy beating Cassie in a Los Angeles hotel corridor on March 5, 2016.

After all these, Diddy received an immense amount of criticism.

Despite facing numerous lawsuits and claims, Diddy returned to Instagram, posting a video on July 5 of himself boarding a private jet. He was also seen white water rafting at Snake River, Wyoming, over the holiday weekend. His posts come after he deleted all previous content, including a video apology to his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.

Additionally, the singer's legal issues become even worse after it was recently revealed that he forced Adria English, a former adult film star, into having a physical relationship with him under false pretenses of helping her career but ultimately blackballing her.

In the lawsuit filed by English, she said that she was forced to have a physical relationship with the attendees at his gatherings. She further accused the singer of grooming her into s*x trafficking.

Meanwhile, after these pictures of the rapper started making rounds on the internet, Douglas Wigdor, Cassie Ventura's attorney, opened up about it to TMZ. On July 9, Wigdor told the outlet in an interview that Cassie was determined to pursue justice.

Wigdor then proceeded to refute Diddy's recent endeavors to sell his California residence and present himself as somebody in need of selling possessions. Addressing the same, he said-

“We are not moved by Defendant Combs’ recent attempt at selling his California home or attempt to portray himself as a man of scarcity when, for decades, Defendant Combs has touted himself as an ultra-successful billionaire of multiple businesses.”

English further said that for her boyfriend and another model to be hired as Sean John models, they had to have oral s*x with the music mogul.

Ariel Mitchell-Kidd, Adria English's lawyer, also commented on Diddy's photos, saying-

"After seeing Defendant Combs white water rafting and jetting around on his personal plane, seemingly enjoying life despite all the atrocities he has caused and has been accused of by countless individuals over decades, Mrs. English is even more motivated to ensure justice prevails."

Moreover, English's lawyer went on to say that the rapper hadn't duped her with his attempts to sell his house-

"Mrs. English and all the other Plaintiffs who have filed lawsuits throughout the country against Defendant Combs are individuals with limited resources fighting for justice after being marginalized, abused, and exploited by a billionaire.”

In nine months, English is the eighth individual to sue Diddy, accusing him of s*xual assault and other related charges.
