Illinois rapper Lil Durk was taken into federal custody by U.S. Marshals in Florida on October 25 and is currently being held without bond at the Broward County Correctional Facility. He was arrested on the charge of murder-for-hire targeting Georgia rapper Quando Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson.
In the wake of Lil Durk’s arrest, the lyrics of his 2022 track Federal Nightmares have gone viral.

Fans have been pointing out how Lil Durk made a premonition through Federal Nightmares. X user @feinmadeit shared a 35-second clip of the song’s official video and captioned it:
“Lil Durk really predicted his own future with this song, ‘Federal Nightmares.’"

It was produced by Tahj Money, DJ Mango, Ayo Bleu, and TouchOfTRent, who also rapped the introduction. In this track, Durk rapped about having “federal nightmares,” including being investigated by the feds, being on trial, and his own “gang” snitching against him.
Before the single, Durk also wrote the line, “They ask me where I'ma be in ten years, sh*t, I said, "The feds,” in his December 2020 track Redman. It was part of the album The Voice (Deluxe). The song was produced by MalikOTB, Bans, and John Lam.

Durk was arrested in South Florida and is currently detained, awaiting transfer to California. He was indicted at the U.S. District Court in Los Angeles on October 24 alongside five associates of his Only The Family (OTF) label.
The five associates are Kavon London Grant, aka Vonnie; Deandre Dontrell Wilson, aka DeDe; Keith Jones, aka Flacka; David Brian Lindsey, aka Browneyez; and Asa Houston, aka Boogie. They have all been charged with the murder of Quando Rondo’s cousin, Saviay’a “Lul Pab” Robinson, who died in a fatal shooting in August 2022.
