Bruce Springsteen recently became the latest celebrity to extend his support to Kamala Harris in the upcoming US Presidential elections. Posting a video on Instagram on October 3, 2024, Bruce Springsteen not only endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, but also called Trump “the most dangerous candidate for President,” and stated:

“Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are committed to a vision of this country that respects and includes everyone, regardless of class, religion, race, political point of view or s*xual identity. That’s the vision of America that I’ve been consistently writing about for 55 years.”

He continued:

"Perhaps not since the Civil War has this great country felt as politically, spiritually and emotionally divided as it does than at this moment, it doesn’t have to be this way.”

Bruce Springsteen concluded his video by encouraging the masses to go out and vote on November 5, 2024, making it clear that he would be casting his vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.

Bruce Springsteen created headlines as he uploaded a video on social media talking about how the country needs a President like Kamala Harris. Talking about Donald Trump in the video, Bruce stated:

“Donald Trump is the most dangerous candidate for president in my lifetime. His disdain for the sanctity of our Constitution, the sanctity of democracy, the sanctity of the rule of law and the sanctity of the peaceful transfer of power should disqualify him from the office of president ever again. He doesn’t understand the meaning of this country, its history, or what it means to be deeply American.”

Furthermore, this is not the first time that Bruce Springsteen has been vocal about his support in the elections. In the previous elections, he offered his support for Barack Obama, and later, for the current President of the United States of America, Joe Biden.

On the other hand, Bruce Springsteen is not the only celebrity who is in support of Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. As per Deadline, George Clooney was one of the first celebrities to come in support of Kamala Harris, as he penned an op-ed for New York Times in July, this year, and stated:

“President Biden has shown what true leadership is. He’s saving democracy once again. We’re all so excited to do whatever we can to support Vice President Harris in her historic quest.”

The elections in the USA are to be held on November 5, 2024. While it was initially Joe Biden who was contesting the election against Donald Trump to become the next President of the country, the President withdrew his candidature in July, 2024, and endorsed Kamala Harris in place of him.
