Rihanna announces her cosmetics company Fenty Beauty's partnership with the Olympic and Paralympic games

Rihanna's Fenty Beauty took to Instagram on July 18 to share news that the cosmetics brand will be collaborating with the Paris Olympics and the Paralympic Games.

The post featured an image of a Fenty Beauty product holding a glass of wine in one hand and Rihanna's hand in the other with the Eiffel tower and Olympics logo in the backdrop. The caption read,

"We are proud to announce that FentyBeauty is a premium partner of the Olympic and Paralympic games Paris 2024. Rendez-vouz a Paris! #FentyxParis2024"

The Paris Olympics begin on July 26, and end on August 11. The Paralympics begin on August 28 and end on September 8 in Paris.


What will Rihanna's FentyBeauty x Paris 2024 bring?

Rihanna's Fenty Beauty posted multiple posts on Instagram, giving information on Fenty's collaboration with the Paris Olympics and Paralympics. A video posted by the beauty brand on July 18 showcased a montage of the Paris Olympics, the Diamond singer's makeup tutorials in French, and volunteers applying makeup on people.

The caption mentioned what the partnership could bring,

"The Fenty Fam just got bigger - we're hooking up 600 young Victory Ceremonies volunteers with makeup kits and tips-n-tricks to get their Fenty Face camera ready for their time to shine as medal bearers for the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024 #FentyxParis2024 P#Paris2024"

The singer also took to her personal Instagram page to share the news of the collaboration:

"tried to tell yall...we outside all 2024!!! PROUD to announce that @FentyBeauty is a premium partner of the Olympic AND Paralympic Games baby!! #FentyxParis2024"

With the FentyBeauty and Olympics and Paralympics collaboration, six hundred volunteers between the ages of 18-21 will receive Fenty Beauty kits and tutorials on how to do their makeup for the sports event.

The cosmetic brand will also have its own makeup artists on site to help match volunteers to their foundation shade.

While speaking to Elle in February 2023, Rihanna, while talking about her vision for her cosmetic brand, mentioned 'Beauty is there to have fun with."

Fenty's recent partnership comes after their collaboration with France's LVMH in July 2023, a French luxury conglomerate formed from the 1987 merger of Louis Vuitton and Moet Hennessy. The company specializes in luxury goods and is headquartered in Paris.

The company released an official statement announcing its partnership with the Paris Olympics and Paralympics for brands such as Louis Vuitton, Hennessy, Fenty Beauty, and Sephora.

While luxury brand Chaumet handles the design of the medals, Hennessy wines, and spirits will be made available for guests. Louis Vuitton will design the tray for the medals to be carried in for the event. Sephora will provide 50 shops in 46 French towns that fall on route to the event's Olympic games.
