Popstar Rihanna recently responded with four words to describe her personality when asked to explain a common misconception about her. The conversation took place while she was out in the streets of New York City ahead of Christmas.

On December 23, 2024, Rihanna stopped in the lanes of NYC to chat with TikTok influencer Mystery Fashionist. During the conversation, the singer was asked to talk about one common misconception about her. She responded that people "don't know her" before providing a short four-word response to describe her real personality.

"I'm ghetto as f*ck," the singer said.

Rihanna did not miss making a fashion statement during the outing. The pop star wore a khaki suede coat with a fur lining, black baggy pants, a New York Yankees baseball cap, and pointed-toe heels.

TikTok influencer Mystery Fashionist asked RiRi a few other rapid-fire questions, which the singer responded to without hesitation. The questions ranged from her go-to products to her style preferences.

In her conversation with TikTok influencer Mystery Fashionist, Rihanna opened up about a fashion trend she regrets being part of.

"When I first started, and I was wearing, like, the baggy jeans with the panties out. What the f**k was I thinking? It's called growth, y'all!"

RiRi also pointed at her belt, explaining where she had let her underwear peek out. The singer said she was happy to leave that style behind. The influencer also asked her about the trend of wearing heels painted with sweatpants, which he claimed many did not like.

However, RiRi did not regret setting that trend and responded:

"I started that trend. I would never regret that. Especially now as a mom heels are the best thing I could do for my f*cking pajamas."

RiRi was also asked to name the things she cannot live without or her absolute essentials. The singer mentioned her New York snapback, baggy jeans, and fitted vintage jeans. She also talked about her "little speedy Croc LV-monogrammed bag" and underwear from Savage X Fenty, her brand.

In other news, RiRi shared a heartfelt moment with Mariah Carey at one of her Brooklyn concerts ahead of Christmas. On December 17, 2024, the singer visited Carey's concluding Christmas concert, praised the singer, and asked her for an autograph on her chest.

In a subsequent interview with PEOPLE, Mariah Carey spoke fondly about the moment she shared with RiRi.

“I was like, ‘You cannot call me a diva again because I’m literally backing down the stairs. That was hilarious. I had heard that Rihanna was coming to the show, but I didn’t think she was going to be in the actual crowd. She was fun."
