On the latest episode of The Jason Lee Podcast, the host, Jason Lee, claimed that Jay-Z and Beyoncé had allegedly reached out to him about Diddy. The podcaster made the claims on the episode released on October 12, 2024, leaving listeners shocked. Lee alleged that Jay-Z had people calling him and asked the rapper to "stop having people call" him.
He added that Jay-Z could call the podcaster himself since he knew how to get the latter's number, before claiming that the podcast episode was going to go viral. Lee then addressed the listeners and said that if he did go missing, all the calls he was receiving "have been about him."
However, he confessed that he has not received any threatening calls as of now about the same. As soon as the clip of Jason Lee made its way on social media, multiple netizens started reacting to his statements. A social media user, @itsavibe, took to X to comment on the situation.
“Risking getting killed over some gossip is crazy lol,” the user wrote.
Many others agreed with the user and wondered why Lee wanted to "be involved and die so bad," as others compared him to Perez Hilton at the beginning of his career. Some said that the podcaster was only seeking attention and that Jason Lee was "mad" that Jay-Z and Beyoncé didn't like him.
“Why would they call u if u weren’t trying to spread a rumor about them? Lmaooo. I remember when Perez Hilton 1st started & he would mock these ppl & spread fake rumors than I realized he did it bc he wanted to befriend these ppl,” wrote an X user.
“Why does bro want to be involved and die so bad?” added another.
“Jason…. Nobody believes you,” claimed another internet user.
“If Attention seeking was an actual person, this would be it,” exclaimed a netizen.
“He is so mad that they don't like him, it hilarious. It literally haunts him every day,” wrote another.
“He really want to get close to them the obsession my god,” commented an internet user.
Before Jason Lee, Jaguar Wright also spoke out against Jay-Z and Beyoncé
Before Jason Lee’s claims, Jaguar Wright had made her way into the headlines for similar allegations. During her appearance on Piers Morgan's show, which aired in early October, Jaguar claimed that for the last "four years," she had been "screaming" that Diddy and Jay-Z were monsters.
Adding that Jay-Z and Beyoncé were a "nasty couple," Jaguar said that the two kept the "victim-making machine" going and noted that they did "nasty things." She also alleged that they kept people "against their will" and got people on planes while they were unconscious.
“Just like Aaliyah got on that plane unconscious. There’s a lot of things that people don’t want to talk about, Piers… I’m just being honest,” Jaguar added.
However, as Jaguar Wright’s statement went viral, Jay-Z's lawyer contacted Piers Morgan and asked him to remove the chunk from the show. Piers addressed the situation and addressed the viewers in his episode aired on October 8, 2024.
"Their lawyers contacted us to say that those claims were totally false, and have no basis in fact. I agreed to comply with their legal request to cut Wright's allegations from the aired interview. Editing interviews is not something we do lightly, at a show called Uncensored. But there are legal limits on us too," Morgan said.
The statements from various celebrities have come after Diddy’s arrest, which took place on September 16, 2024. The rapper has now been charged with multiple charges like racketeering, s*x trafficking, and fraud. Diddy’s bail plea has been rejected multiple times as the prosecutors claimed that he was a “flight risk.”
Neither Jay-Z nor Beyoncé have yet commented on the claims made by Jason Lee.
