Social media influencer Charleston White recently weighed in on the news of Lil Durk's arrest. White filmed a video which was further circulated by X user (@FearedBuck). What caught fans' eyes was that White seemed to be celebrating the arrest.
In the video, White first said:
"Ain't nobody laughing at Durk the way they were laughing at me when I went to jail!...Now it ain't funny! Now your favorite rapper go to jail and look like he got a no bond like me... Y'all be so hypocritical when it comes to your favorite rapper."
He then added:
"Salute to Lul Timm!"
Charleston White called the fans hypocrites, since many celebrated when a rumor about White's death was circulated. He also referred to the moment that he got arrested earlier this month for aggravated assault and animal cruelty charges in Tarrant County. His animal cruelty charges are because he allegedly pepper sprayed a cat. White, however, denied the allegations and claimed that it was all "made up."
For the unversed, Lul Timm, whom Charleston White referred to in the video, was actually connected to the case involving King Von's death, a close associate of Lil Durk. He was accused of killing King Von. Von was a rapper who was also a member of the Black Disciples gang.
In the video, White could be seen eating and driving while he was recording the video.
Lul Timm was the prime suspect in the murder of Lil Durk's close associate King Von in 2020
As aforementioned, in the latest video Charleston White referred to Lul Timm while celebrating Lil Durk's recent arrest in South Florida. Timm was suspected of killing a very close associate of Durk back in 2020. It was further reported by authorities that the 2021 killing of Quando Rondo's cousin was a retaliation act.
Elsewhere in the video, Charleston spoke about his own arrest back in December 2023. As reported by Yahoo News, White released a video, talking about the animal cruelty charge. He said:
"The animal charge, somebody sent a screenshot of a cat, said I done something to a cat. I don’t know what that’s about."
For the other charge of aggravated assault, Charleston claimed that he was the victim. According to him, he brought a gun outside only to protect his wife. He further alleged that he was hit in the head by someone while he was sleeping. In the recent viral video of Charleston, he also pointed out that the fans were hypocritical when it came to their favorite artist, which in this case was Lil Durk.
Just a few days back on October 22, Charleston appeared on Adin Ross' livestream and explained that he was hurt when he noticed that many people celebrated his rumored death. He was referring to the speculations which went viral on October 20, claiming that a man named Charleston White was shot.
He later clarified that he wasn't shot or injured. On Ross' livestream, he said:
"Can I tell you the truth? Me and my feelings were hurt when I saw how the motherf*cking famous people celebrate in the reply, like I got killed. And I'm saying, 'I never hurt nobody.' I ain't shot up the community..."
As for Lil Durk's arrest, no further details have been made available as of now.
