Social media is buzzing after the jail phone call between Leena Sayed and Young Thug was leaked. A clip from 2022, allegedly recorded inside the prison, recently went viral, sparking controversy. Thug, who has been in a relationship with Mariah the Scientist since 2021, addressed the situation, denying any romantic connection with Leena Sayed.

Posting on X on December 24, 2024, Thug said:

“Man me and twin was talking bout some whole other serious sh*t, I don’t know y she spoke on loving other people or anything else cause ain giving no f*ck bout no h*es or n*ggas I’m the capital P lol that’s my twin and nothing else. Never have never will lol.”

The response from Young Thug also prompted a clarification from Leena Sayed, who posted on her Instagram story:

“Lol I’m nobody’s twin. I’m 100% down for my baby daddy with whatever he do and whoever elese he f*ck with and that’s why y’all mad."

In another story, she clarified that the video doing rounds was from before she met her “BD,” referencing the American professional boxer Devin Haney. Leena Sayed added that she would never talk to “Thug or any other man.”

However, as soon as the video and the screenshots of their tweets and Instagram stories went viral, multiple X users began to react and took the comment section. An Instagram user, @TheNeighbourhoodTalk uploaded the screenshots, to which another netizen responded and said:

The recently leaked 2022 jail phone call between Young Thug and the Instagram model Leena Sayed has sparked widespread attention. In the 15-minute conversation, Thug, who had been facing legal troubles at the time, appeared emotional while urging Sayed to “move on” from him. Sayed, however, expressed her feelings for the rapper, saying:

“I don’t like anyone… I want you.”

Sayed, a social media influencer, is reportedly expecting a child with professional boxer Devin Haney, while Thug has been in a committed relationship with singer Mariah the Scientist since 2021.

For the unversed, Young Thug AKA Jeffrey Williams was arrested in 2022 after he faced several allegations of running a racket of street criminal activities. Arrested under the RICO charge in Atlanta, Thug was released from prison on October 31, 2024, after he accepted a plea deal.
