Earlier this week, Las Vegas cops arrested Dominique Armani Jones, a.k.a. Lil Baby, over illegal weapon possession. On Wednesday, August 28, 2024, footage of the Atlanta rapper's arrest surfaced online, showing him offering a nearby security guard $200,000 a year to help him out.
TMZ first shared the clip. Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officers arrested Jones on Monday outside the Encore Resort and Casino for a gun possession charge.

Rapper Lil Baby is currently out after posting a $5,000 bail
The footage released on Wednesday, shows the rapper in handcuffs talking to a security guard as the police search him. At one point, he offers the guard a $200,000 bribe to make a phone call. He tells the guard that they were locking him up for carrying a gun when he has a license.
As the police continue to search the Atlanta native, he becomes increasingly frustrated, telling cops to examine him as he had a "gun in (his) n*ts." The rapper even remarked he would shoot himself.
Per a statement given by law enforcement following Lil Baby's arrest, the rapper was caught on camera passing a gun, prompting an investigation by the police. rapper's attorney told XXL:
"To be clear, Dominique Jones has a valid Georgia Carrying a Concealed Weapon (CCW) Permit. On his behalf we are actively investigating the facts and circumstances surrounding his arrest in Las Vegas."
According to a report by TMZ, Lil Baby has a permit to carry the firearm in his home state of Georgia, but Nevada does not recognize the same. The rapper was taken to Clark County Detention Center and later released on a $5,000 bail bond.
This is not the first time Lil Baby has been arrested. In 2019, the rapper was arrested for driving recklessly and failing to signal when changing lanes. In 2021, he was detained in Paris for carrying 32 grams of cannabis. He was soon released in both cases.
Lil Baby has not publicly commented about his recent arrest.
