A picture of the end note of Taylor Swift's The Eras Tour Book has gone viral on X, which the singer concluded with a hand-written message that said:

"See you next era..."

The viral X post has seemingly put an end to all the rumors about the Fearless singer retiring from music after her Eras Tour.

Swift announced the release of The Eras Tour Book two months ago on her Instagram handle, alongside the CD and vinyl of her latest album - The Tortured Poets Department: An Anthology.

Her announcement also revealed that both the book as well as the CD and vinyl will be available on Target from November 29.

Taylor Swift reflected on coming up with the concept of The Eras Tour in her book's end note

Taylor Swift opened the end note of her Tour Book by recalling the first phone call over which she explained the concept of the Eras Tour to her team. The All Too Well singer wanted every single one of her albums to have a separate chapter, a separate "world" on this tour, adding:

"I told [my team] that I want to fully commit to each era, musically, stylistically and aesthetically. They should feel like time capsules. If we do this right, I said, we can celebrate and honor both new fans and fans who have been here since day one."

Swift also talked about coming up with the idea of the tour six years after her last tour. In that period, the 34-year-old was working on re-recording her old albums alongside creating new music.

And as she revisited her past in the process of re-recording, Taylor found herself falling back in love with her older songs. This led the Karma singer to create "the longest, most ambitious show" she had ever attempted. She kept each one of her shows over 3 hours long, with roughly 45 songs performed in each one.

Taylor Swift's goal with The Eras Tour was for every fan to leave her show knowing that she "gave them absolutely everything she had."

The Enchanted singer also mentioned in the end note that embarking on a tour like this one required a certain physical and mental toughness, in addition to discipline and a commitment to her "health, fitness, and stamina."

While performing regardless of the "blazing heat," the "bitter cold" and the "wildest wind" was a challenge for both Taylor and her team, they continued to do it for three years because they loved the opportunity to create happiness and wonder on the stage. They also respected the time, energy, money, and effort concertgoers put into attending their shows, and wanted to make it worth their while.

The Sweeter Than Fiction singer added:

"We do it because people need an escape from how brutal life can be, and it is the honor of a lifetime to be that for them, if only for a night. And although we are all on our own in this big scary life, somehow it doesn’t feel that way when we’re singing the same words as 80,000 other people wearing glittery face paint."

Taylor Swift continued:

"We do it because life comes in waves, in phases, in brilliant flurries of magical moments, and all of these things come together to create … Eras."

While Taylor Swift's Eras Tour started six months after her tenth studio album, Midnights, was released, she continued to work on new music while on the tour. Earlier in 2024, Swift completed and released her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, which turned out to be a commercial and critical success.
