Jim Jones released his diss track That Sh!t Still in Harlem after Cam'ron appeared on the It Is What It Is podcast alongside Ma$e to seemingly diss the City of God artist. During the January 13 episode, Cam’ron demanded that Jones acknowledge that the former schooled him in rapping, to which Jones delivered a curt response. Netizens have also taken to social media to react to the track.

Jim Jones initially took to Instagram to share a teaser for the song on January 14, 2025. In the track, he rapped, “When n***as play with your name, remind ‘em who you are.” The musician went on to say, “Just trying to tell my truth, but n***as is lying.” Jones then boasted about putting “so much work in” that he “coulda died on the job.” He also rapped:

“I done been through the most/ N***as talkin' bout we fake bloods I had to spin for the coast/... N****s talkin' bout they outside but thing everything on the post."

Jim Jones ended the teaser clip with the lines:

“So what more you wanna ask him? You n***as taught me how to rap and now I’m platinum.”

The former Diplomats rappers, who also went by the moniker of Dipset, began beefing back in December when Cam’ron appeared on his YouTube show Talk with Flee with guest 50 Cent. Cam'ron stated he felt betrayed by Dipset after members Jim Jones and Juelz Santana were invited to and attended 50 Cent's New York City concert back in 2007.

As the feud seemingly progresses, with Jim Jones releasing That Sh!t Still in Harlem, netizens have taken to social media to react to the track, commenting under an Instagram post by @saycheesetv about the same. One netizen wrote:

What did Cam’ron say about Jim Jones on the It Is What It Is podcast? Details revealed as the latter releases diss track

During the January 13 episode of the podcast, Cam’ron discussed The Diplomats’ history and also mentioned 50 Cent, who has been part of the conversation regarding Jones recently. Addressing Jones, Cam’Ron said:

“We taught you how to rap, n***a. How you run the whole organization? How you made Diplomats? You ain’t made none of this. You was a fan. I put you down because you had a free crib and you were a nice guy. That’s how you got down originally. Period.”

50 Cent has since taken to social media to react to the podcast episode as well, by pinpointing Ma$e munching on some popcorn during the episode, in a January 13 Instagram post. The Candy Shop singer wrote in his caption, commenting on Ma$e eating, “This is the worst part of the video LOL HARLEM!”

It remains unclear as of now whether Cam’ron will retaliate with a diss track of his own.
