Latto recently compared a rapper to Ice Spice during Funny Marco's Open Thoughts Auditions. She joined the comedian on his YouTube channel in the episode where their purpose was to spot "the next BIG THING." While seemingly unimpressed with the rapper's performance, the 25-year-old singer said:

"It gives me, like Ice Spice. It was like 'I'm so cute GRAH'..."

The two artists have been beefing for quite some time, and as a result, they don't share a great bond. The clip quickly went viral, with netizens flooding the internet with their comments. One person on X wrote:

"She aint lie"

Several other fans expressed similar sentiments on X.

Latto defends Cardi B on Open Thoughts Auditions

As mentioned before, Latto compared a rapper to Ice Spice after being disappointed with their performance. This reaction garnered massive attention from fans, many of whom agreed with her reaction. In the same episode, Latto also had a moment where she defended Cardi B after a contestant accused Cardi B of stealing his lingo and even dance moves. He said:

"Hey Cardi B, stop stealing my lingo."

This comment didn't sit well with Latto, who immediately snapped back at the contestant while defending Cardi. The rapper said:

"Cardi ain’t steal. Cardi ain’t here, but I’m here and I’ma step behind Cardi. What you say about her?"

While the contestant decided to stick to his claims, the 25-year-old artist said:

"No she didn’t though. I'm not endorsing no Cardi B diss. They can go."

Cardi B is yet to directly respond to the comments made by the contestant or Latto. This wasn't the first time that the singer was seen praising Cardi or taking a stand for her. As reported by AOL in June 2023, the rapper revealed that Cardi B was one of those who inspired her to be a mother. She said:

"I feel like they kind of supersede the stigma that it’s over for women when you have a baby -- like your career is over. They give me inspiration for real..."

Meanwhile, she seemingly had been in a beef with Ice Spice since the beginning of last year. They released diss tracks too, where it seemed like they were taking digs at each other.
