As the second season of Caresha Please premiered on Thursday, August 8, 2024, the host was put in the spotlight and asked about multiple controversies, including her public feud with City Girls group member JT. Internet users have since taken to the internet to side with Caresha, who is popularly called Yung Miami.

Rapper Saucy Santana interviewed Caresha, and when it came to being candid about the latter’s relationship with JT following their fallout, Caresha said:

“We outgrew each other. Every time we got together, it just didn’t hit. She was working on her ish. I don’t know. When we got on stage, that was the only time we would interact… S**t ain’t all good, and it’s not all bad. I still look at her as family.”

Speaking about their feud becoming public and the two firing shots at each other on X, Caresha said:

“I feel like you’re trying to get people to pick a side.”

Yung Miami explained that her relationship with JT was also affected as the duo were living in different cities. She then added:

“The group ain’t making no money, we ain’t working. We on two different pages. Video shoot… wardrobe… anything, we just weren’t connecting so I had to figure things out.”

Caresha and JT got into a feud in April after the former alleged that the latter was “sneak dissing” her in songs. This led to the duo unleashing wrath against each other on X.

Internet users seemed to be siding with Yung Miami as she discussed her equation with JT. One person said:

JT also appeared in an interview with Keke Palmer in June to discuss the feud in question. She claimed that their interaction “hurt” her and that she did not want their disagreements to become public. Meanwhile, netizens continued to defend Miami online:

Yung Miami also spoke about their feud in an interview with Complex magazine. She stated they were in “different spaces” and focusing on their separate careers. Meanwhile, other reactions to the latest podcast episode read:

Inside the feud between Caresha and JT as the former addresses the same on podcast

After Yung Miami accused JT of “sneak dissing” her, the latter took to X to claim that she never did “wack sh*t” to her. JT also alleged that Yung Miami liked to see it when people “dragged” her online.

Miami then said:

“You weird but always wanna act like I’m a weirdo you always mad it’s always a problem & all I try to do is push you tell you, you the s**t you can rap, you should model etc! You always mad you doing your sh*t as you should CONGRATULATIONS but somehow you STILL MAD AT,” an X user said.

In response, JT stated that Miami never came to her defense and that she had reasons to be upset with her. She then wished her the best.
