Lil Durk's associate, OTF Boona, came to bat for the rapper and his girlfriend, India Royale, after many claimed the latter was going to cheat on Durk now that he was locked up in prison. For the unversed, Lil Durk is awaiting his trial on "murder-for-hire" charges after he was accused of staging a plot to kill rapper Quando Rando during a shooting in 2022, which resulted in Quando's cousin's death.
On January 2, 2025, an X account, @KollegeKidd, uploaded a video of OTF Boona defending Lil Durk's relationship with Royale, calling the model and influencer a "loyal woman."
“She a loyal woman to her man. She love him. She know what’s best for her," Boona said in the video.

Lil Durk and India Royale's relationship explored
According to Hot New Hip Hop, Lil Durk and India Royale's relationship began in 2017. In December of that year, the Chicago-based rapper dedicated a song to his girlfriend titled India and also featured her in the song's music video. The track was a part of his 2017 mixtape Signed to the Streets 2.5.
In 2018, Durk and Royale revealed they were expecting their first child. Their daughter, Willow, was born in October that year. Following this, Lil Durk dedicated a second song to his partner, titled India II.
As per People, Durk publicly proposed to India Royale during his set at the 2021 Lollapalooza. He invited her on stage in front of the crowd, asking:
"You know I love you to death, you've been holding me down ... when I was going through a low. You've been the realest to me and I love you to death ... Do you wanna be my wife?"
Royale accepted his proposal. However, rumors of a breakup sparked after she took to Instagram to post about being a "free agent" in 2022. She also confirmed she was single in an X post in March 2023. It is unclear why the couple decided to part ways; however, many speculated that it was due to a cheating scandal.
It is unknown when they reignited their relationship, but it was sometime in 2023. Following Durk's arrest, Royale was spotted outside the Miami courtroom in a show of solidarity after attending a hearing regarding the ongoing case.
In other news, the pending trial for Lil Durk's "murder-for-hire" charges has been pushed back to October 2025 after both the prosecution and defense deemed the case "so unusual and so complex," requesting more preparation time. The trial was initially scheduled for January this year.
Durk was apprehended at a Miami airport in October 2024. Authorities alleged the rapper was trying to flee the country after he got wind of his impending arrest. The rapper, whose real name is Durk Devontay Banks, was allegedly involved in a revenge plot to kill rapper Quando Rando in 2022.
While Rando escaped the shooting, his cousin Lil Pab died as a result. Authorities alleged Durk was trying to take revenge for the death of his associate King Von, who died in a shooting incident involving his crew and Rando's in 2020.
