Before debuting on Twitch, the rapper announced on her Instagram story that she would be hosting a dance party on the platform —

Lizzo has been very vocal about her weight loss journey. During an interview with The New York Times on March 28, 2024, she emphasized that her approach to weight loss was natural and gradual. She expressed pride in her progress, even though the numbers on the scale were not significantly changing —
"I’ve been methodical, losing weight very slowly. I don’t really see it because if anyone who’s on a natural weight-loss journey knows... Also the scale’s not really moving. But anyway, that doesn’t matter. I’m super proud of my current lifestyle," the rapper said.
In addition, on November 22, 2024, Lizzo shared a series of selfies on Instagram that highlighted her noticeable weight loss, which surprised many of her fans who commented on the post. As of now, it is not publicly known what her exact weight was or how much she currently weighs, but she appears to be very content with her progress.
