American rapper Ice Spice has been the subject of intense speculation over her apparent weight loss. A clip of her dancing on stage, posted by TheNeighborhoodTalk on Instagram, has led to claims that she has used drugs to lose weight.

In the video, Ice Spice is wearing a black lacy catsuit and performing a rendition of Think U The S**t (Fart). The comment section is filled with users questioning if she was on Ozempic to lose weight.

However, rapper and artist Sexyy Red defended Spice and wrote:

"Yal act like people can’t b stressed or not eat as much and she still look good so next…"

Ice Spice had been flaunting her transformation, making fans speculate she was on Ozempic

Ozempic, also known as "Hollywood’s worst-kept slimming secret," is a drug meant for diabetics. According to Columbia Surgery's Center for Metabolic and Weight Loss Surgery, the drug can also lead to significant weight loss.

Recently, when fans saw Ice Spice's leaner body, they assumed she was consuming the drug to achieve such results. Spice, however, posted a series of photos, one of which indicated a sweaty gym seat. The other photos included the rapper flaunting her body in a bikini. Even under that post, the comment section had been flooded with Ozempic rumors.

The artist reportedly hasn't addressed the rumors yet. Ice Spice is, however, not the first person to have been accused of consuming the drug. In May, Scott Disick was facing rumors of being on Ozempic.

Kelly Clarkson too faced allegations of using Ozempic. She, however, responded that while she was using a weight loss drug, it wasn't Ozempic.

Meanwhile, there is a list of celebrities who have been quite open about using Ozempic for losing weight. This includes comedian Claudia Oshry, who also described it as a difficult journey for her. In June 2023, in a conversation with Andy Cohen, actress Amy Schumer also revealed taking the drug for a brief period.

While several netizens went all out bashing and mocking Ice Spice for her apparent weight loss, Sexxy Red has given them a strong reply. Red herself has experienced massive physical transformations, especially after having two children.

Meanwhile, Ice Spice is reportedly busy with her upcoming album Y2K!, which is set to release on July 26, 2024. The title of the album honors her birth date January 1, 2000.

She recently had an interview with Entertainment Tonight, where she talked about the collaborations in different parts of the album.

Spice didn't reveal the names of the collaborators, and only confirmed that there would a couple of them. She has also released a few tracks of the album, the latest of which was Did It First, dropped on July 11, 2024.
