After her arrest in June 2024, rapper Chrisean Rock may face a prison sentence of eight years on her drug-related charges dating back to 2020. The 24-year-old rapper was arrested two months ago when she appeared at the Los Angeles court to attend her baby’s father, Blueface’s, court hearing.

However, several publications reported that Rock was charged with "failure to have a tax stamp affixed on control dangerous substances." She was also reportedly charged with “possession of control dangerous substance.” Both of these charges carry a jail time of four years each, which may lead to the rapper having to spend eight years in prison, along with a potential fine of $20,000.

An X user, @Mymixtapez, shared the news on the platform, noting that the rapper might be facing eight years in prison. Netizens who saw the tweet began reacting to it, with many claiming that Chrisean Rock "threw her life away for a man."

Chrisean Rock’s arrest warrant was issued in 2022 on the possession of drugs

Chrisean Rock and Blueface have been in the news for their tumultuous relationship. However, following the news of Chrisean's arrest, netizens were worried about the former couple's nine-month-old son.

The incident that Chrisean Rock was arrested for took place in May 2020, when she was caught with marijuana and paraphernalia in Maryland. She was then extradited to Oklahoma and charged with possession of drugs, two misdemeanor offenses, and assault with a deadly weapon.

According to BET, these weren't the only charges against Chrisean Rock. The rapper was also charged with the alleged physical assault of a backup singer, James Wright, at a Tamar Braxton Concert in January 2024.

Her former partner, Blueface, is currently facing serious charges for allegedly brutally attacking a bouncer in November 2021. Chrisean's arrest in June 2024 took place when she was attending Blueface's court hearing in Los Angeles.
