In separate news, the singer announced the release date of her upcoming album, Harlequin. The album was titled according to the movie Joker: Folie à Deux, which will star Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix. The album, which will have 13 tracks, was declared to be released on September 27.
On September 24, she also released the album cover on her Instagram feed. In the photo, Lady Gaga is standing full-clothed under the shower with washed-away makeup. She also has an inflatable red collar around her neck. Fans seemed elated with the announcement and flooded the comment section of the post.
Lady Gaga's upcoming movie Joker: Folie à Deux is set to release theatrically across the US on October 4. The date for its overseas release is, however, is on October 2, 2024. In the movie, Gaga plays the role of Harley Quinn, while Joaquin Phoenix portrays The Joker.
