Ariana Grande is set to appear on Hot Ones on August 8 to participate in the challenge of consuming as many increasingly spicy wings as possible.

In a preview of the episode, the singer asked host Sean Evans to predict how she would do in the challenge.

Grand asked Evans how he would rate her preview performance in terms of Lorde or DJ Khaled’s performance in the same challenge. For context, Khaled could only eat three out of ten wings and was one of the worst performers, while Lorde performed one of the best. Ariana Grande: "What do you expect of my performance today? Like, where do you think I'll sit on the scale from DJ Khaled to Lorde? Where do you think I'll rank?"

Sean Evans: "That IS the scale. You even properly positioned the scale."

In response, Ariana said she does her “homework.” Sean Evans predicted the singer to do quite well in the challenge, guessing it would “go Lorde-leaning”.

"I'm gonna go Lorde-leaning. But however it happens, is how it's supposed to happen," Sean said.

On Sunday, August 4, X account First We Feast was the first to break the news of Ariana Grande appearing on the season 24 finale of Hot Ones. However, fans had their doubts about believing it because Grande had previously promised to appear on the show but did not.

On June 11, 2024, Hot Ones teased Ariana Grande’s appearance on the show. However, when the June 13 episode aired, viewers were left disappointed as the singer did not appear on the show. Instead, Shane Gillis appeared in that episode. The First We Feast account then blamed the delay of Grande’s appearance on the preparation time of soy wings as a joke.

However, this time, Ariana Grande is actually set to participate in Hot Ones. After First We Feast shared the news with the caption, "This is NOT a drill," the official Hot Ones page reposted the same.

On August 5, the video of Grande asking Evans to predict her appearance also went viral. Therefore, the singer is all set to take part in the challenge of consuming spicy wings. All the wings she will be consuming in the series will be vegan.
