Dontay "Big Durk" Banks claimed that Lil Durk became the government's 'enemy' after turning his life around
During his interview, Dontay "Big Durk" Banks alleged a government conspiracy that got his son arrested. He claimed that the government doesn't interfere when one is "wrong" but has a problem once they become better people.
Dontay "Big Durk" Banks started by thanking fans and well-wishers for their love and support during his son's arrest. Thereafter, he claimed that it was 'strange' for the feds to have arrested him when Lil Durks had turned his life around. According to Bug Durk, his son had started practicing religion and practicing philanthropy.
"I can say is that it's mighty strange that once he started doing good out there, once he stayed away from all the gang-banging, and dissing the dead, and doing things out there in the street, when he turned his life around, practicing religion, doing things for the community, bringing about peace in Chicago and throughout various cities, all of the sudden, now he's being indicted," opined Big Durk.
After narrating several philanthropic deeds of his son, he claimed that Lil Durk had become the government's 'enemy' when he had turned his life around and started doing good to people.
"When you start doing right and tell the people to stop doing wrong, then all of the sudden, you're an enemy to them," he added.
As per the latest reports, Lil Durk's trial date was recently pushed back from January 7, 2025, to October 14, 2025.
