Kendrick Lamar recently became the talk of the town during his rap beef with Drake. He is now in the spotlight on social media after fans noticed that his fiancée Whitney Alford's Instagram page was inactive on Father's Day. While several celebrities shared posts dedicated to their significant other on the occasion, netizens noticed that Alford, who shares two children (Uzi and Enoch) with the rapper, did not.
DJ Akademiks shared on X that Whitney Alford did not share a message online on June 16, 2024. While the reason behind the same remains unknown, people linked it to the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake as they reacted to the same.
Netizens also took to the comments section of Akademiks' post and one individual wrote, "Shoutout to Dave Free," who has been a close friend of Lamar's for years. It is important to note that Drake referred to Dave Free in his diss track Family Matters, claiming that the latter may allegedly be the biological father to one of Lamar's kids.
Netizens also shared their theories on the duo and referred to Drake's track.
"It sounds like she has low interest for Kendrick and that the relationship is non existent," a user wrote.
"'Cause if your GM is your BM secret BD Then this is all makin' plenty f*ckin' sense to me," another user wrote.
"Yea there's definitely a lot of truth in Drake's family Matters song.. there's definitely some sh*t going on with their relationship," a third user added.
"Everyone starting to realize Drake lyrics were more impactful and realistic," a netizen commented.
A portion of the public also criticized Akademiks for sharing the news and believed that it was alright if individuals wished to stay away from social media.
"Neither did Beyonce & Rihanna why you didn't post about them," a user asked.
"'Fans notice' All these while it's you noticing," another user stated.
"Everything doesn’t even have to be on social media. that’s yall problem," an X user added.
