Halsey, also known as Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, released the music video for her new single, Lucky, on July 26, 2024. The video has grabbed a lot of attention due to the singer's appearance, in which she can be spotted in a catsuit inspired by Britney Spears' look.

The video features Halsey portraying a character admired by a little girl, and the bedroom walls are covered with the artist's posters. The character also faces problems in a relationship as she gets treated for a health issue, which resembles Halsey's real-life situation, where she contracted Lupus alongside T-cell disorder.

Apart from her health issues, the song also discusses the singer's increasing popularity and her struggle to handle her life as a single mother.

The Sing 2 star even shared an Instagram post announcing the arrival of the music video and wrote:

"It was really challenging to incorporate so many conflicting emotions in just a few minutes. This campaign has been fun because I want to have fun, but I made lot of this art when I was suffering. I have so many people to thank for being a part of this monumental moment in my life."

Netizens took to the comments section of Halsey's latest post, praising the way she spoke up about her health condition. One of the reactions stated:

"Showing that she's sick was so vulnerable we love you Halsey."

Halsey has battled with many health issues throughout her career: Diagnosis and other details explained

The American Dad! star has managed to gain a huge fanbase with her flawless work in films and TV shows. But apart from this, she has even fought with several health problems throughout her career and it started when she was 17 years old.

As mentioned earlier, she was diagnosed with Lupus and T-cell disorder in 2022. She updated her fans about her health condition via an Instagram post on June 5 this year. The singer shared more details, saying that she is getting treatment and continued:

"After a rocky start, I slowly got everything under control with the help of amazing doctors. After 2 years, I'm feeling better and I'm more grateful than ever to have music to turn to. I can't wait to get back where I belong: With you all Singing and screaming my heart out."

The Roadies singer has also battled bipolar disorder alongside ADHD and endometriosis. Back in 2022, she disclosed through a statement on her Instagram Story that she was taken to the hospital a few times for anaphylaxis and was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sjogren's syndrome, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome.

Halsey also revealed at the time that she had been visiting doctors for around eight years and was called "crazy" by many people. She continued:

"When I wasn't working I essentially confined to my home for fear of how I'd feel when I woke up each morning. It took me a long time to get to even having a diagnosis so I'm celebrating! Don't roll your eyes at your sick friends. They could be fighting a battle that they haven't named yet."
