Cardi B's fans, called Bardi Gang, have recently issued a deadline on X demanding an update on the rapper's long-awaited second album. Cardi B's humorous reaction to the demand has attracted several reactions from netizens across social media.

Her debut album, Invasion of Privacy came out in April 2018. The album was a chartbuster, hitting the peak of the U.S. Billboard 200. However, Cardi B hasn't released a full body of work post Invasion of Privacy, making it six-and-a-half years since she released her last album.

On October 29, a fan page (@toomanynnights) issued an ultimatum for the rapper. According to the tweet, Cardi B's fandom has been "attacked and bullied" by her for the last six years. The tweet asked her to officially announce her new body of work or provide an update by November 22. It ended with the threat stating that failure to provide an update would result in Cardi B's fans deactivating their social media profiles.

The tweet garnered a hilarious reaction from the rapper herself. She reposted it, writing:

"Lmaaaaaaooooooooooooooo yooo yall crazy"

When another fan got serious, Cardi B continued her lighthearted tone.

“B*tches be laughing, like hoe what’s funny?” she tweeted.

The back-and-forth has resulted in several netizens coming forward to state their opinions on X. While some criticized the artist for not keeping fans in the loop, others took a lighthearted approach.

Some popular reactions on X are as follows:

"Sis send me a 5 second snippet so i can nibble on something," wrote a fan on X.
"lmaooo they were insane for that post but an album announcement would be amazing ns," opined another.
"OKAY SO NOW THAT WE HAVE RIGHT WHERE WE WANT YOU, WHERE IS THE ALBUM?" demanded another user.

The fan reactions kept coming. One netizen wrote:

"Even tho i don't agree with the tweet why u laughing ho we still want dat album."
"Please take all the time you need to release YOUR art. it will all be worth it in the end," commented another.
"They whacked you and ain’t say nothing wrong ! Only thing crazy is not following up since 2018 .. not even a tape or ep," declared one user.

Another fan implored her to release the album this year, writing:

"as long as we get it this year idc when you drop just make sure you post one of them announcement videos before you post the album," wrote one fan.
"She really not obligated to drop an album. This woman got real life shit going on; let her heal and do what she needs for her mental health , physical health and her kids before y’all keep pressing her to drop music. Healthy boundaries are a thing," countered one user.
