More details on Rihanna as the new face of Dior J’adore
For the latest campaign visuals, Rihanna stuns in golden brown hair, subtle gold eye shadow, and lips in warm brown. The gold visuals are rounded up by a layered pearl necklace, an ode to the design of the J’adore fragrance bottle.
In a statement included in Dior’s caption for the J’adore campaign on Instagram, Rihanna says:
“Being the new face of J’adore is both an honor and a mission. This scent, that I have known and loved for so long, means so much to women. It is more than a perfume; it is a companion and a reference. I am especially touched to join this adventure and to contribute to it through my world, my story, my roots, as well as my creativity and my own femininity.”
The singer was announced as the new face of the J’adore fragrance in June 2024, replacing long-time muse Charlize Theron, who is now the ambassador for the luxury brand’s jewelry and skincare line.
In an exclusive interview with Vogue magazine on August 16, 2024, the singer expressed that she and her family have always been fans of the J’adore fragrance.
“My mother worked in a perfume shop. She used to always bring home the J’adore testers when they were almost empty, so there was always a bottle in the house. I have always loved this perfume.”
The latest campaign featuring the nine-time Grammy Award winner was shot at the Chateau de Versailles in Paris by photographer and long-time friend Steven Klein. She spoke of the historic place and its significance for the J’adore fragrance:
