Big Sean found himself in deep waters after the rapper’s new album allegedly got leaked by an anonymous social media user. The leak happened after Big Sean AKA Sean Michael Leonard Anderson released On the Radar Freestyle, which was speculated as an alleged diss for Kanye West.
As the diss track release and the album leak took place coincidentally, at the same time, several people on social media took notice of the incident and dug deep into what exactly happened with Sean Michael's album. A few even posted screenshots of an anonymous user, @bigseandon811, who claimed that it was allegedly due to Ye.
In two separate posts, the anonymous user stated how Big Sean disrespected Kanye so much. Hence, he is releasing the album, which “features Nas, Dream, Jhene, and some other people.” Thereafter, in the next post, the user stated:
“‘Ye doesn’t know you.’ Plot twist: Ye told me to leak it…"
While Kanye West has not yet confirmed or denied the accusation, social media users are now reacting to the fiasco, as one even called it “insane hating.” The netizen commented on User @aubreysattorney's post on X (formerly Twitter) and said:
"Some of these song titles are OUTRAGEOUS."
Others also commented how Big Sean should also go all out.
"Meanwhile Drake fans are not playing dirty games with dot. Damn Sean. You shoulda stood on business and go all out," one person said.
"That’s crazy," another person said.
"Wow! Really leaked! Heard a song yet? Definitely should’ve stood on business," one netizen commented.
"Big Sean asked for it. Like why go after such an easy target in Ye?" another person wrote.
Big Sean alleged diss track for Kanye West: Details
Big Sean created headlines after he allegedly dissed Kanye West in On the Radar freestyle, as he rapped:
“I had to switch the home team ’cause they committed treason. N***as looking for engagement like they got their knee bent. I got better things to do than to find someone to beef with.”
Speculated to be talking about Kanye West’s matching tattoos with Uzi Vert and Steve Lacy, Big Sean continued to rap:
"Man, this industry is terrible, I can’t even vouch. I’ve seen grown men get matching tattoos for the clout.”
Furthermore, there were several other lines that were perceived as a diss track for Ye. Thereafter, speculations grew stronger, when DJ Hed took to X (formerly Twitter), to state how it was not “for dot,” meaning that the diss was not Kendrick, but a “different Gemini,” allegedly hinting towards Ye. The X post read:
“I talked to Sean. The bar was ‘I got better things to do then find someone to beef with.’ And it was not for Dot. Bar was directed at a different Gemini.”
The alleged feud seemed to have stemmed when Kanye West said in 2021 that signing Sean was the worst thing he had done.
While social media users continued to comment on how Sean’s tracks and the entire album got leaked, there were many others too who sided with Ye, and stated how he is just being accused.
On the other hand, Sean has commented on the incident on July 18, confirming the leak. He jokingly said in an X post that he should start releasing his music before they leak it all.
