On July 8, X user @nojumper shared a video of the rapper tossing a cell phone into the crowd and the clip seemed to be from the recent music festival.

While numerous videos from the event surfaced online, @nojumper's caught the attention of netizens.

X users took note of the incident and reacted to the same on social media. One X user was sure "somebody got a black eye," while others were concerned about the phone.

"Sigh, that poor phone," wrote one netizen.

"Who picked the phone souls gone," added another.

"Phone didn’t stand a chance," a netizen wrote.

One netizen recalled a 2022 incident when Vert threw a phone into the crowd, thus allegedly injuring a fan.

"Last time he did that a girl got hit in the head with the phone," they wrote.

On Saturday, Uzi Vert, Lil Yachty, JID, LIHTZ, Rico Nasty, J.P., and 414BigFrank performed for the attendees.

A video of him, which seemed to be from the recent festival soon went viral, and this is not the first time he has become the talk of the town for throwing a phone into the crowd.

In July 2022, Vert reportedly threw a fan's cell phone back into the crowd during the Wireless Festival in the U.K. while performing his 2016 track Money Longer. As per People, the phone allegedly hit a fan, causing a head injury. The individual in question reportedly needed medical assistance after the alleged incident.

However, it is important to note that a source told the publication that several fans threw phones on stage during the artist's performance, and Lil Uzi Vert began trying to clear the stage. He reportedly threw the phones back into the audience and did not intentionally direct them at specific people.
