Sean “Diddy” Combs’ lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, attempted to justify why the rapper owned 1000 bottles of baby oil and lube in an interview with TMZ that was published on September 25. As per The New York Times, the same was discovered when Homeland Security raided the musician’s mansions. Several memes regarding the discovery and the lawyer’s justification have since appeared online.

TMZ’s Harvey Levin alleged that the baby oils were likely used by multiple people who were engaging in explicit activities in Diddy’s mansion. Marc Agnifilo then clarified by saying:
“[Diddy] has a big house. He buys in bulk. I think they have Costcos in every place where he has a home. I mean, have you sat in a parking lot of a Costco and see what people walk out there with? I don’t think it was a thousand [bottles]. Let’s just say it was a lot.”
The attorney also expressed similar sentiments with The Post when asked about the baby oil bottles. While the publication spoke to the lawyer outside the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, where Diddy remained as he awaited trial, Agnifilo said:
“I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk as we know. And you know these consensual adults doing what consensual adults do. You know, we can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow s*x is a bad thing, because if it was, there would be no more people.”
Netizens have since taken to the internet to create hilarious memes about Costco, Diddy, the baby oil, and Marc Agnifilo. One tweet read:
Several other online users criticized the attorney and Diddy.
“Costco manager seeing diddys order for the 59th time in a week,” an X user said.
“What mickey mouse lawyer is this I thought Diddy invested millions in his advocates,” another netizen commented.
“Shoulda hired Jackie Chiles,” a platform user commented.
NBC News reported that after Combs was arrested on September 16, the rapper pleaded not guilty to the charges. These included s*x trafficking by force, fraud or coercion, transportation to engage in prostitution, and racketeering conspiracy. Meanwhile, other reactions to his attorney’s statement read:
“I live near a Costco too but I don’t store baby oil in bulk or is he a reseller? Anyways we all know the real reason why he was buying it,” an X user said.
“It wasn’t baby oil. It was liquid ecstasy lol,” a platform user said.
“Ain't nobody believing that,” another netizen said.
Marc Agnifilo spoke to TMZ as a part of the latter’s upcoming documentary on Combs. As per the New York Post, Homeland Security also seized guns and ammunition, including three AR-15s. They also reportedly found “controlled substances, extra linens, and lighting.”
Furthermore, an X user questioned if Diddy got his lawyer at Costco, while another remarked about walking out of Cosco with so many bottles of baby oil.
“Did he get the lawyer at Costco too,” an X user said.
“Hate when I accidentally walk out of Costco w/1000 bottles of baby oil,” a platform user said.
11th victim comes forward to accuse Diddy of s*xual assault
According to CNN, on September 25, another victim named Thalia Graves filed a lawsuit against the rapper and his bodyguard Joseph Sherman. She alleged that they r*ped her in a Manhattan studio in 2001. She claimed to be just 25 years old when she met the rapper through her boyfriend, who worked at Combs’ Bad Boy Records.
In the lawsuit, Graves claimed that Combs wanted to meet her alone to speak about her boyfriend’s supposed "performance issues” in person. When she met him, she was allegedly drugged and r*ped while being filmed. Speaking about the occurrence with AP reporters, Graves said:
“I’ve had PTSD, depression and anxiety. I’m emotionally scarred. It has been hard for me to trust others, to form healthy relationships, or even feel sage in my own skin.”
After denying all accusations and pleading not guilty, Sean Combs is now in federal custody, awaiting trial.
