Big Sean made an appearance at Usher's show in Detroit

A day before his much-talked about Friday show, the 45-year-old singer performed another concert in the city on Thursday, September 12. The highlight of the show was the surprise performance of Big Sean on stage.

The singer performed about two-thirds of the event and then welcomed Big Sean on the stage. Sean performed his recently released song, Who You Are (Superstar) from his sixth studio album Better Me Than You. Before introducing Sean on the stage, the singer addressed the audience and said:

"If we’re gonna come to Detroit we gotta make sure to shout out all the legends."

He then additionally addressed Big Sean and mentioned:

"Big Sean, I don’t mind you taking over the stage, but I gotta make a drink."

Usher was then seen getting behind the bar counter, making drinks for the VIP fans in the audience section. Meanwhile, Big Sean continued the event by performing snippets of some songs, including So Good, A$$, Bounce Back, and I Don’t F*ck With You.

Big Sean then spoke to the crowd, telling them that he was accompanied by the Bad Habits singer earlier in the day to the Detroit Boys and Girls Club to inspect the place and check their recording studio. Big Sean further highlighted the fact that the duo had never worked on a project together and that they were looking into it.

The ongoing tour of Usher is set to continue, and the next show is expected to take place in Denver with two show dates—September 17 and September 18.

During the entire tour, the singer is scheduled to cover several cities in the US, including Dallas, Houston, Washington, D.C., and Anaheim, to name a few. In 2025, starting in March, he will cover European countries like England, France, and Germany.
