On Thursday, November 7, Drake (aka Aubrey Drake Graham) shared a handwritten note of gratitude from his seven-year-old son Adonis. The short message in red-and-black ink caused quite a stir among his fans on the internet.

In the handwritten note, Adonis wrote:

"Thank you for giving me such a good life and a good family. I love you dad. Adonis to Dad."

For the unversed, the Family Matters rapper shares Adonis with French artist Sophie Brussaux. According to People magazine, the two were briefly together after Drizzy's breakup with Jennifer Lopez in January 2017. In May of that year, Brussaux told TMZ, claiming that she was three months pregnant with Drake's child. Adonis was born on October 11, 2017.

Several fans of the rapper took to X to share their opinions on his latest Instagram story featuring his son's "thank you" note. Some of the comments read:

"Sophie wrote this with her left hand. No one falling for this," a fan joked.
"He needs to thank Pusha T for that," another person opined.
"Got bullied into being a father lmao," another user commented.

One user wrote that Drake posted the photo because of PR.

"Bro needed good pr and had to hit his son for a co-sign," the fan wrote.
"Family matters," another chimed in.
"Even Adonis had to try and help make his dad feel better for taking that L," one individual announced.

Some of the mixed reactions on social media read:

"Greatest artist AND greatest dad," another inferred.
"Lmao Drake dictating the words to Adonis," one wrote.
"Lmao…coming from someone that was almost ab0rted and got 5 DNA tests ran before he can be claimed as a son? He will grow to see how much of a clown he have been," another user commented.

Last month, Drizzy posted photos from his son's birthday celebrations featuring a custom SpongeBob SquarePants-themed party.

Drake celebrated Father's Day with his son Adonis and father Dennis Graham

This year, the God's Plan rapper celebrated Father's Day (June 16) by posting photos with his son and father on Instagram. Drake's father, Dennis Graham is a musician and a Canadian school teacher.

In the photo, the three were seen on a farm at sunset. The rapper was posing with a brown camouflage vest and baggy pants. Meanwhile, the other two sported large hats and cowboy outfits. Other photos featured the three enjoying the picturesque sunset at the farm and driving a Brabus automobile, a vehicle specially designed for the rapper.

"Three generations. Happy Fathers Day to the ones guiding their daughters and sons," the rapper captioned the post.

Drake talked about raising Adonis during an October 2019 interview with LeBron James on The Shop. The 38-year-old discussed the nitty-gritty details of co-parenting his child with ex Sophie Brussaux.

"I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who, we’ve had our moments. I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened. But I don’t have any desire for him to not love his mother," Drizzy said.

He continued:

"I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We have found ourselves in a situation and we are both equally responsible. Now, I’m just really excited to be a great father."

Finally, Drizzy explained that he had "unconditional love" for his former partner:

"No matter what happens, I have unconditional love for the mother of my child because I want him to love his mother and I have to project that energy."

Rapper Pusha T was the first person to bring Adonis to the public eye with his track The Story of Adidon on May 29, 2018. Drizzy confirmed the news in his album Scorpion, which was released a month later.
