Stefflon Don and Jada Kingdom's feud stemming from their romantic history with Burna Boy explored

British-Jamaican rapper Stefflon Don recently explained her beef with Jamaican artist Jada Kingdom, in a conversation with the host from GRM Daily. According to Don, the beef with Kingdom was the result of a misunderstanding. The host asked Don if she and Jada were fine with each other before the feud, to which she replied:

"Yeah, we used to be cool. The situation that happened, I wasn’t even with him (Burna Boy). I don’t really care what he’s doing. She’s selling, he’s buying, what’s the problem?"

Stefflon further addressed the base of the feud which was the release of her song Dat A Dat, in which she said that a woman slept with her man. While Stefflon Don didn't refer to Jada, it was assumed that the singer hinted at the Jamaican artist and Burna Boy.

According to Stefflon, however, she wasn't even with Burna when the song was launched, hence, she couldn't have been talking about him and Jada in the first place.

Jada Kingdom and Stefflon Don's feud explored

Earlier this year, singers Jada Kingdom and Stefflon Don found themselves in the middle of a heated feud. The issue started on January 9, with the release of Dat A Dat, where Stefflon threw a set of allegations at a female rival. The allegations involved substance abuse and selling her body to get private jet access. Back then, Stefflon was also rumored to have rekindled her bond with Burna.

UPROXX reported that while no mention of Jada was made, it could be implied that the time that both the women dated Burna Boy overlapped.

While there was no confirmation about the same from Stefflon Don, Jada took it upon herself and launched her own track London Bed. Jada, however, didn't leave any space for ambiguity and made a direct hit at Stefflon by including a photo of her with her eyes Xed out.

A day later, on January 10, Stefflon released Deadgyal Walking, in response. She made a direct attack on Jada in the song and said that she didn't think a lot about her "would be rival", as reported by UPROXX. Things took a turn after Jada launched Steff Lazarus. In the track, Jada Kingdom accused Stefflon of "sacrificing her dad and brother."

In response, Stefflon warned Jada about the allegations she was making and that they were quite serious in nature. She further claimed that the allegations against her were false.

In the recent interview, Stefflon Don stated that she was cool with Jada before the beef, even though they never were friends. She further said,

"I didn’t care about that situation. Not a little bit. Jada and I were never friends but we’ve linked once or twice. In the song, I said my man, not my ex. That [Burna Boy] was my ex."

She further addressed the issues and allegations made by Jada Kingdom, in the latest interview, and said,

"If you really felt a way, you could just address that personally, but you don't want to do that. You wanted the clout. So, I thought it was the right day. I’m not gonna lie."

Upon being asked by the host, if she would rekindle her relationship with Jada, Stefflon revealed that she was never her "homegirl", hence, they had nothing to rekindle. Stefflon Don also claimed that she was ready to move on with her life from the somewhat ugly beef with Jada Kingdom.

For the unversed, Stefflon and Burna began dating in 2019 when they met while vacationing in Ghana. The former couple then broke up in 2021. In 2024, however, rumors spread that they were rekindling their relationship after Burna allegedly gifted a car to Stefflon on her birthday. The pair, however, didn't confirm or deny the rumors.
