"Kendrick Lamar went to Ghana and got fake hair locs transplant 💀."
The tweet garnered massive attention from netizens, who seemed quite disappointed about Ak's posts. While some commented that he should address the allegations made against him, some bashed him for his opinions about the beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake.

This tweet by Ak came after he announced the release of an upcoming music video. However, netizens seemed to be more fixated on the suit filed against him by Ziya Abashe.
DJ Akademiks revealed that a new music video was to be released
On Monday, August 19, after USA Today obtained the court documents citing the allegations against DJ Akademiks, he took to X, formerly known as Twitter and posted an update about an upcoming music video. Fans, however, didn't seem to be quite excited with the news after the news about the lawsuit went public.
HotNewHipHop reported that Ak was possibly talking about Drake, when he mentioned an upcoming music video. The Canadian artist had recently released 100 GB content for his fans which included several clips and new tracks: It’s Up, Blue Green Red, and Housekeeping Knows. No further details about the music video that Ak mentioned, has been revealed as of now.
For the unversed, Ziya Abashe, a writer based in Pennsylvania, sued Ak for drugging and s*xually assaulting her in 2022, along with two accomplices. Abashe had further claimed that she was "casually dating" Ak whom she met on social media first. According to the suit, the complianant had faced massive physical and psychological trauma after the alleged actions by Ak.
DJ Akademiks has not yet spoken about the severe allegations made against him by Abashe.
