On Monday, October 14, Drake took to Instagram to share snaps from his son Adonis' seventh birthday party, causing quite a stir on the internet. The God's Plan rapper posted pictures of what appeared to be a SpongeBob SquarePants-themed birthday extravaganza.

Drake shares Adonis with French artist Sophie Brussaux. The two were briefly linked after Drizzy's break up with Jennifer Lopez in January 2017. Their relationship went public when Brussaux claimed she was three months pregnant with Drake's child in May. Adonis was born on October 11, 2017.

In the first birthday party picture, both father and son looked serious, with Drake wrapping his arms around Adonis. The background was identical to Bikini Bottom, the fictional town where SpongeBob SquarePants lives. In the second image, Drizzy and Adonis have a wide grin across their faces.

Fans were quick to hop on to X to discuss Adonis' SpongeBob SquarePants-themed birthday bash. One fan on X wrote:

"Straight outta bikini bottom."

Some popular comments on X are as follows:

"Why does Drake look young and old at the same time in the second pic," opined another.
"You think Drake calls him Donnie?" tweeted another.

Meanwhile, others joked about Drizzy's recent feud with Kendrick Lamar, commenting:

"Meanwhile Kendrick son probably hasn’t seen the outside of the basement in years."
"Kid needs to thank Pusha and Kendrick," quipped another.
"Was Kendrick invited?" another user chimed in.
"Drake don't even look like he hates Adonis like Pusha n Kendrick had us thinking," commented one user on X.

One user raved about the animated character SpongeBob SquarePants, writing:

"SpongeBob the goat"
"Why drake looking so skinny tho," added another.
"the photoshop job is criminal," announced a fan.

Drake once celebrated Father's Day by sharing photo of his father and son on Instagram

This year, Drizzy celebrated Father's Day by posting pictures with his father, Dennis Graham, and his son, Adonis.

"Three generations. Happy Fathers Day to the ones guiding their daughters and sons," the rapper captioned the post.

In the photo, the 37-year-old was seen in a brown camouflage vest with gray baggy pants. Meanwhile, the other two sported cowboy outfits with large hats. Other photos showed the three enjoying a ride in a Brabus automobile, a vehicle specially made for Drizzy.

Drake's father, Dennis Graham, is a Canadian school teacher and musician. However, the Canadian rapper spent most of his childhood under the tutelage of his mother, Sandi.

Meanwhile, Drizzy and his ex-partner, Sophie Brussaux, have reportedly figured out a way to co-parent their son amicably. Drizzy even talked about his co-parenting journey in the first track of his 2021 album, Certified Lover Boy, rapping:

"Co-parent of the year, we figured out a rapport."

In an October 2019 interview with LeBron James on The Shop, Drizzy discussed the pros and cons of co-parenting a child.

"I am a single father learning to communicate with a woman who, we’ve had our moments. I do want to be able to explain to my son what happened. But I don’t have any desire for him to not love his mother," Drizzy said.

The rapper also explained how he didn't want Adonis to grow distant from his mother, saying:

"I don’t ever want the world to be angry at his mother. We have found ourselves in a situation and we are both equally responsible. Now, I’m just really excited to be a great father."

Drizzy concluded the conversation by expressing his "unconditional love" for Sophie Brussaux, the mother of his child. He shared:

"No matter what happens, I have unconditional love for the mother of my child because I want him to love his mother and I have to project that energy."

Adonis' existence remained shrouded from the public eye for many months after his birth. It finally came to light with the release of Pusha T's track, The Story of Adidon, on May 29, 2018. A month later, Drizzy himself confirmed the news in his album Scorpion.
