Robert Rihmeek Williams, aka Meek Mills, has seemingly come to Jay-Z's defense after the latter was sued for r*ping a 13-year-old (alongside Diddy). On Sunday, December 8, 2024, Mills tweeted:

"The goal is to start false narrative to create a matrix web …. If you can control the story line you can control the matrix …. American media is totally unbelievable! I see “Jayz “ _____ a 13 year old girl 300 times scrolling it’s called programming"

On Sunday, December 8, Jay-Z was named a co-defendant in a civil complaint accusing him of drugging and r*ping a 13-year-old at an MTV VMA after-party. The lawsuit was initially filed in October 2024, naming only Diddy as the defendant. Since then, social media has been flooded with posts addressing the development.

As Mills' post went viral, internet users were quick to react. On criticized the rapper, saying:

Many continued to call out Meek Mill.

"If meek defending him he definitely did it," one wrote.
"You always at the scene of a crime," another remarked.
"Abusers defending abusers," a user commented.

However, there were a handful of netizens who agreed with Mill.

"N***a discovers the term “breaking news” & wonders why it’s the only headline you see," one person sarcastically stated.
"Meek stay out bro please," another added.
"I actually agree with this," a user wrote.

Meek Mill was once signed to Jay-Z's record label, Roc Nation

Meek Mill was once signed to Jay-Z's record label, Roc Nation (beginning in 2012). However, in July 2022, the artist separated from the company, citing internal disputes and wanting more control over his business ventures to help them grow.

In an October 2024 interview with The Danza Project, Bobby Shmurda claimed that Jay-Z and Roc Nation launched a smear campaign against the rapper, including those about his relationship with Diddy.

Both Meek Mill and Jay-Z have been named frequently in relation to Diddy. Federal officers arrested Combs in September 2024 on charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution. Per his unsealed indictment, he ran a "criminal enterprise" that s*xually abused "women and others" for years.

These claims included participating in "elaborate and produced s*x performances" for the benefit of Diddy and his guests at "freak off" parties. Since then, netizens have speculated which celebrities would have attended the parties. This included digging up old pictures of rappers like Jay-Z hanging out with him.

Days after Diddy's arrest, a photo of him and Mill in matching shirts began circulating on social media. Netizens began questioning their relationship, some even claiming that Combs abused Williams.

In February, music producer Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones Jr. sued Diddy for s*xual misconduct and assault. At the time, internet personality DJ Akademiks claimed Mill's name was redacted in the lawsuit, prompting rumors that the rapper was involved in Diddy's scandal.

At one point, Meek Mill tweeted to deny all claims and added that he wished to hire an "investigative team" to figure out "every specific detail" linking him to Combs' case. He offered a $100,000 reward for the same.

Diddy is currently being held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial is set to begin in May 2025.
