Kid Cudi is yet to announce rescheduled dates for the "INSANO: ENGAGE THE RAGE" World Tour
Kid Cudi had initially canceled his INSANO world tour, back in April, after breaking his foot during his last-minute live set at the 2024 Coachella Festival.
The rapper jumped off stage in an attempt to get closer to fans near the barricade but ended up sustaining a calcaneus injury that resulted in him being carried out of the event.
Kid Cudi then took to social media to announce that because of the seriousness of his injury, citing how he wouldn't be able to recover in time and wished to get back to top shape.
The rapper explained why he won't be continuing with his plans for the "INSANO: ENGAGE THE RAGE" world tour, initially expected to kick off on June 28, 2024.
"We will be back with new tour dates as soon as possible, and I can’t wait to get back out there with you guys and turn up how we do. I’m so sorry fam and I love you so much, thanks for the endless love and support. I’m really disappointed as I’m sure you guys are too, but I will be back. That’s a promise." - Kid Cudi stated.
With tickets for Cudi's world tour refunded to fans, after 30 days of the event's cancellation, the rapper is yet to confirm any rescheduled dates for "INSANO: ENGAGE THE RAGE".
The tour was initially scheduled to take place between April 2024 and November 2025, with the rapper performing hits from his discography across North America and major cities in Europe. Cudi's "INSANO: ENGAGE THE RAGE" was also set to feature music and performances from Jaden Smith, Pusha T and Earthgang.
According to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, a calcaneus injury can have a varied recovery time, taking anywhere from three weeks to a full year, depending on its severity.
Although many seem to speculate that new dates will be set for late 2025, Kid Cudi and his team have not made any further announcements regarding the canceled world tour.
