Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled their first Demi Lovato wax figure. On Tuesday, October 1, 2024, the popular museum took to its official Instagram account to reveal the pop singer's figurine.

As the image went viral, internet users were quick to react. Many remarked that the figurine looked more like American singer and songwriter Halsey. One user wrote:

"It’s their entire job to make these things and they all look so bad. demi lovato where? That’s literally halsey."

Users on X commented on the waxwork, with one joking about it resembling Nightmare Era Halsey.

"girl that’s nightmare era halsey what demi is that even supposed to be," one quipped.
"IMO, that waxwork looks more like Halsey than Demi. That is no shade to Halsey or Demi! Just at first glance the face was giving Halsey," another user remarked.

Others commented on the choice of clothing for the sculpture.

"OUT OF ALL THE OUTFITS???" an X user commented.
"ate but out of every single outfit... rlly," another user commented.
"why didn’t they choose one of her more iconic outfits," a fan added.

However, one user praised the figurine and said:

"wait this one’s actually good."

This is the second Demi Lovato wax figure made by Madame Tussauds USA

Demi Lovato's latest wax sculpture features her donning a white sheer shirt with a blue plaid mini skirt, mirroring her wardrobe during her Alternative Press magazine photoshoot. According to Madame Tussauds' blog, it was donated by the Heart Attack hitmaker herself.

The museum's blog also stated that artists took over 250 measurements and photos of the singer in order to "capture every detail of her features with incredible accuracy." It was crafted over six months in London.

Lovato was thrilled looking at the wax sculpture. Remarking on it's lifelike quality, she commented:

"The first time I saw my wax figure, it was a healing moment for me. I’ve struggled with body dysmorphia, and seeing myself in 3D was a powerful experience. It’s something I’ll always treasure."

This is not the first time the former Disney actress had herself immortalized at Madame Tussauds. The museum's Hollywood outlet first debuted her figurine in 2015.

General Manager at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas, Gabriel Hewitt, in a press release, remarked:

"Demi Lovato is a global sensation, captivating audiences with her incredible voice, remarkable talent, and her unwavering commitment to mental health advocacy. It’s an honor to celebrate her in our Las Vegas attraction."

Lovato is currently celebrating the success of her directorial debut, Child Star. The documentary centers around the highs and lows of fame at a young age. A portion of the film advocated for the financial security of child actors and influencers.

The Cool for the Summer hitmaker recently joined California Governor Gavin Newsom as he signed two bills aimed at protecting child content creators from financial abuse.

Demi Lovato's latest sculpture is set to make its public debut on October 6, 2024.
