Netizens took to the comments section of the post to react to Red's birthday wish, with a section of the public making fun of the rapper, whose real name is Janae Nierah Wherry. One of them also referred to Drizzy by writing:
"That's probably really her babyfather too."

Drake and Sexyy Red have shared a close friendship for some time
While there are no details available on when the rappers became friends, the duo's closeness has been in the headlines for different reasons. As mentioned, Red recently shared a post on the occasion of Drake's birthday and the latter did the same for Red in April this year when she turned 26.
Drake shared an Instagram Story on April 15, 2024, featuring a photo of Red with a lot of money at a pool. He wrote alongside the picture:

The same month, Drake and Sexyy Red criticized Joe Budden for indirectly commenting on the duo's reported friendship in his podcast. Budden seemingly referred to them as he told his co-host Queenzflip in the episode:
"Oh, you think he just like being around Sexyy Red that much? I can name some more people."
