On Thursday, December 26, 50 Cent took to Instagram and opened up about a potential joint album with Eminem. 50 Cent, aka Curtis James Jackson III, shared a post on the social media platform which had screenshots of several articles surrounding him and Eminem together. In the caption, the rapper wrote:

"Looks like I'll be back in the booth after all! Just gotta do this residency in Vegas first."

The news about a potential joint album between the two rappers excited fans. They flooded the comment section under the Instagram post. One user (@momosworld) commented:

The speculation about a joint album first arose after Eminem spoke about the same earlier this month, as per AllHipHop in an article dated December 27, 2024. On December 25, Em made an appearance on DJ Whoo Kid's Whoo's House Podcast.

During the conversation, Whoo Kid asked this question to Em, who gave a positive response, thus sparking excitement among the fans. Whoo asked if Em was open to collaborating with 50 Cent in an album. He responded, saying:

"That would be great. I think that we gotta stop bullsh*tting and just do it...I would never say it's not possible."

50 Cent's current statement through his social media post gave further hope to their fans.

50 Cent and Eminem have previously worked together on several projects

Fans, who have been patiently waiting for a collaboration between Em and 50 Cent, have witnessed the two work together in several projects before. These would include Eminem's 2004 track Encore, which featured 50 Cent. Other songs where the rappers featured together are Hail Mary, GATman And Robin, Crack A Bottle, and a lot more.

The duo also made appearances in other artists' tracks, like Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg's Gunz N Smoke. The Ayo Technology rapper also appeared for Em's The Home & Home Tour in 2010. When Em co-headlined the Super Bowl halftime show in 2022, 50 Cent was further one of the many rappers to perform there.

In 2021, Eminem made a cameo appearance on 50 Cent's Starz series BMF. While they have worked on so many projects together, fans have never seen them in an exclusive studio album. According to an article by Newsweek, published on December 27, 50 Cent revealed last year in January that he was working with Eminem.

He then said that they were working together to create a "modern version" of the 2002 film 8 Mile. 50 Cent spoke to BigBoyTV then and said:

"It's gonna be big. I think it should be there for his legacy, because if you don't see... it's important to me that they understand it."

While fans are now eagerly waiting for the duo's potential joint album, no exact date for the same has been revealed as of yet.
