The tensions between Jay-Z and Nicki Minaj extend beyond the recent record-breaking achievements. Recently, Nicki Minaj criticized Jay-Z when Kendrick Lamar was selected as the headliner for the Apple Music Super Bowl 2025 Halftime Show. In her tweets, Minaj implied that he had "snubbed" Lil Wayne.
"Denying a young black man what he rightfully put into this game for no other reason but your ego. Your hatred for BIRDMAN, Drake & Nicki got you punishing Lil Wayne?!?!!! LIL WAYNE!!!!!!!!!! THE GOAT?!!!!!!!!!!! Nola, what's good?!!!!!!" Minaj wrote.
According to Billboard, Nicki Minaj's music has cumulatively charted for 1,945 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 and Billboard 200, officially surpassing Jay-Z to become the sixth longest-charting rapper of all time on these charts.
As reported by Hip Hop, only Drake, Lil Wayne, Eminem, Kanye West, and Future have achieved more consecutive chart placements. Notably, Minaj holds the distinction of being the longest-charting female rapper on this list.
As of now, Jay-Z has not publicly commented on Nicki Minaj's recent achievement.
Nicki Minaj Pink Friday Tour 2
In addition to surpassing Jay-Z and breaking a record to maintain her status as the sixth longest-charting rapper, Nicki Minaj is celebrating another significant achievement. According to Hip Hop DX, her tour, which began in March 2024, has reportedly become her best-selling tour to date.
The rapper took to her Instagram in February 2024, where she shared a screenshot of a press release indicating that Minaj's Pink Friday 2 World Tour is her "best-selling tour" and had sold 30,000 tickets in her hometown.
"Nicki Minaj Presents Pink Friday 2 World Tour is now her best-selling tour, with more than 25 sold-out arena shows in just days of presale," the press release reads.
The rapper included a heartfelt caption beneath the screenshot, expressing her deep honour and gratitude for the unwavering support of her fans in GagCITY. She emphasized how much their loyalty means to her, highlighting the strong connection she shares with her community.

In addition, the rapper has won 444 awards, including MTV, BET, and iHeart, and has also been nominated for 658 Awards.
