Ice Spice further slammed the fans for alleging that she used Ozempic for weight loss
Rapper Ice Spice recently made the headlines as her latest skinny pictures went viral. Social media fans started debate after the pictures went viral in November. Ice Spice even flaunted her thin belly in her most recent Instagram image on December 6.
This happened four months after she denied the allegations that she had lost weight using Ozempic. As per People Magazine’s report, after the rapper started uploading her recent pictures after the transformation, people started alleging that she had been using Ozempic.
The Princess Diana rapper then addressed these allegations in an X Spaces conversation on August 19.
During the same, she said:
“I wish y'all never learned the word Ozempic. That's one thing I wish. Oh my God, like, what even is Ozempic? What the f*ck is that? Genuinely, what is that?"
The rapper further said:
"Like, you lazy a*s b*tches never heard of a gym? It's called the gym. It's called eating healthy. It's called being on tour. Like, what the hell? Maybe if I was sitting home all day, it would be easier to stay big."
She further acknowledged that she had lost significant weight due to her physical demands of performing live and her rigorous traveling schedule. Though she has been flaunting her weight loss, Ice Spice has mostly been quiet about the subject since responding to the rumors months ago.
As per the University of California's July 19, 2023 report, Ozempic is a weekly injection that helps lower blood sugar by producing more insulin. Although some doctors prescribe it for weight loss, it is not approved for that purpose.
The most frequent side effect of Ozempic is nausea. Constipation, vomiting, diarrhea, and stomach pain are additional side effects.
