Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs is facing two new lawsuits accusing him of drugging and s*xually assaulting minors. According to People Magazine, citing court documents, on Monday, October 28, 2024, two men filed civil suits in the Supreme Court of New York County alleging assault when were just ten and seventeen.
In a statement made to People Magazine, the music mogul's lawyer explained:
"The lawyer behind this lawsuit is interested in media attention rather than the truth, as is obvious from his constant press appearances and 1-800 number. As we’ve said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are facially ridiculous or demonstrably false."
The attorney asserted that his client never "s*xually assaulted or trafficked anyone," whether "man or woman, adult or minor." He added that they trusted the judicial process.

For the unversed, Diddy's lawyer is referring to Tony Buzbee, a Houston-based attorney who announced representing 120 new alleged victims earlier this month. On October 14, six (four men and two women) of the 120 accusers filed civil complaints claiming r*pe and assault.
The new lawsuits against Diddy allege the incidents took place in the 2000s
According to People Magazine, Texan attorney Tony Buzbee filed the lawsuit on behalf of the two accusers and kept their names anonymous (filed under the name John Doe). Per the publication, citing a statement made by Buzbee, it was explained that both alleged victims were trying to "break into the music business," and Diddy promised to help them.
The first victim, who was 10 at the time, claimed to have met Combs during an "audition" in 2005. According to his lawsuit, his parents flew him from Los Angeles to New York City with a consultant they had hired to meet "numerous people within the music industry," including Combs.
The civic complaint alleged that Diddy wanted to meet the boy in his hotel room, and the consultant dropped him off. The rapper told the child he could "make him a star" and asked him how "badly he wanted" to make it in the industry.
The lawsuit alleges that someone in the room gave the boy a soda laced with drugs such as GHB and/or ecstasy as he began to feel "a little funny. The suit included a photo of the container allegedly used to lace the drink.
Diddy reportedly forced the 10-year-old to perform oral s*x and threatened harm to his parents if he told anyone. The boy claimed he "lost consciousness," and when he woke up crying, his "an*s and buttocks hurt badly" and his "pants were undone." Additionally, the suit alleged that the boy told his parents, but they were terrified of the consequences and hence didn't report the abuse.
The second victim, a 17-year-old boy, allegedly met Diddy during an audition for the MTV reality series Making the Band in 2008. The show centered around aspiring musicians competing for a spot in a musical group managed by Combs' label (Bad Boy Entertainment).
According to the complaint, during the first day of the audition, the rapper allegedly m*sturbated while groping the teenager (during a private one-on-one interview). On the second day, he reportedly forced the boy to perform oral s*x on him and his bodyguard.
The teenager claimed that Combs told him he would keep an eye on him after the assault. The alleged victim was eventually eliminated from the competition and was "unable to return to the music industry for seven years."
Per the legal documents, they are seeking both compensatory (compensate for the actual loss) and punitive damages (punish the defendant), which would be determined during the trial.
In a press conference on October 1, Tony Buzbee announced that he was representing 120 new victims, 25 of whom were minors. On October 14, he filed on behalf of six of the accusers (including one minor), all claiming r*pe and s*xual and physical assault. This was the first time a minor (at the time of the assault) sued the rapper.
People Magazine, quoting a statement by Buzbee vowing to continue filing for his clients, wrote:
"We will continue to file cases weekly naming Mr. Combs and others as defendants as we continue to gather evidence and prepare the filings."
Federal officers arrested Diddy in September 2016 on the charges of s*x trafficking, racketeering, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
Since then, he has denied all allegations. Combs has been held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. His trial is set to begin in May 2025.
