Although many believed Charli XCX's "BRAT Summer" ended, the English singer-songwriter has released a brand new Remix for the LP titled Brat and it’s completely different but also still brat.

Charli XCX remixed all 15 records from the original album's tracklist as well as the additional single included on the deluxe version, Brat and It’s the Same But There’s Three More Songs So It’s Not, which was released to DSPs on June 10, 2024, via Atlantic Recording Corporation.

Charli's new BRAT remix album includes guest appearances on all the tracks, which include pop stars like Billie Eilish, Ariana Grande, Lorde, Yung Lean, Bladee and more. The album was divided into two separate discs, featuring 34 full-length records, with a runtime of an hour and 38 minutes.

What is the "BRAT Summer" trend? Details explored as Charli XCX drops new remix album

For the past four months, Charli XCX and her team have dominated the pop culture market with their "BRAT Aesthetic," selling everything from lime-green merch to massive BRAT marketing campaigns. The album was released on June 07, 2024, and debuted at No.3 on Billboard's 200 charts.

That eventually led to fans coining the messy, carefree aesthetic of Charli's sixth studio album as "BRAT Summer," borrowing certain elements from similar TikTok trends like Rat Girl Summer. The impact of BRAT has evolved to become a "way of life" being embraced by her young millennial and Gen-Z audience.

The trend was marked by a season of parties, playful antics and lime-green fashion styles, which very quickly took over TikTok leading to "#bratsummer" generating over ten thousand posts on the social media platform.

A day after the album's release, Charli XCX explained her reason behind picking the title of "BRAT," by alluding to a lifestyle that accepts imperfections, as well as embracing change and chaos.

During an interview with Apple Music's Zane Lowe, Charlie XCX discussed her choice behind the album cover's bright lime-green artwork:

"The actual first idea of doing a text cover came from was to save money. I was like, This album is not going to appeal to a lot of people. I was like, I think I will do a press shoot, and then maybe we just save on the album cover."

Charlie XCX is taking "BRAT" on tour performing alongside Australian singer Troye Sivan on their collaborative Sweat Tour, which finds the artist performing in major cities all across North America.

The tour began in Detroit, on September 14, 2024, and will conclude on October 23, 2024, with a final show at the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle.
