NSYNC former member Lance Bass shared a post with Kamala Harris, on Instagram, on July 27. In the video, Bass asked Harris,

"Hey, Kamala! What are we gonna say to Donald Trump in November!"

To which the Vice President jokingly replied with "Bye Bye Bye!" a reference to NSYNC's popular track Bye Bye Bye. The musician further expressed how much he admired Harris in the Instagram caption.

"She has always stood for everything that is right and good. She's had my family's back and I will always have hers!! I'm so ready for Madame President!!"

Netizens further reacted to the video on social media platforms like X. Here are some reactions to the Instagram post:

One user wrote,

"She is so poised!"
"Put this on a t-shirt! Bye bye bye!" added another tweet.
"I love Biden but I'm even more confident that Harris will win. Can you feel the electricity? Do you see a generational and cultural movement gather steam before our eyes?" shared an X user.

While several people showed support for Lance Bass' video with Kamala Harris, many had a different opinion. One wrote on X,

"This is so cringe."
"Because appearing with rich celebrities is all voters care about," said another user.
"You think Lance Bass is the key to Millenials…" added a tweet.

In the Instagram post caption, Lance Bass then continued urging every potential voter in the country to cast their vote for a suitable candidate during the November elections.

Lance Bass became one of the latest celebrities to back Kamala Harris in the Presidential race

Just as Netflix co-founder Reed Hastings' donation to Kamala Harris took the internet by storm, she was recently seen with former NSYNC band member Lance Bass in an Instagram post, as mentioned. He further mentioned how he thought Harris would be perfect to serve as president.

On July 26, Kamala Harris also appeared on All Stars 9, Drag Race. She was alongside judge Michelle Visage, choreographer Jamal Sims, and special guests Leslie Jones, Lance Bass, and Cheyenne Jackson, as reported by Billboard.

Harris addressed how LGBTQ rights were being violated regularly. She added,

"So as we fight back against these attacks, let’s all remember no one is alone. We are all in this together, and your vote is your power. So please make sure your voice is heard this November, and register to vote at vote.gov."

President Joe Biden had endorsed the 59-year-old Vice President, after he stepped down from the election race on July 21, 2024.

Kamala Harris also received endorsement from former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama. In a campaign video, Barack spoke to Harris over a phone call and endorsed her. He said,

"We called to say Michelle and I couldn't be prouder to endorse you and do everything we can to get you through this election and into the Oval Office."

Several LGBTQ celebrities have come out to support Kamala Harris

Kamala Harris has been known for backing the rights of the LGBTQ community and their advocacy. While she had received backlash from some people within the community, most of them had supported her, and that included several leaders and celebrities as well.

Lance Bass isn't the only LGBTQ celebrity who extended support to Kamala Harris. Over 1,000 people signed a letter endorsing Harris. The list included Matt Bomer, George Takei, Billy Eichner, Ashlyn Harris, Sophia Bush, and Ritchie Torres, to name a few. The letter that they signed read,

"With these strong LGBTQ+ policies in jeopardy because of Donald Trump, JD Vance, and the anti-LGBTQ+ Project 2025, electing Kamala Harris and defeating Donald Trump again is critical for the cause of equality."

While being a DA in San Francisco, she made California the first state to abolish the "gay/trans panic defense" as reported by NBC News. The outlet also described her as one of the first supporters of same-s*x marriage.

The 2024 Presidential Elections are to take place on November 5, 2024. While Donald Trump has already become a nominee from the Republican Party at the Republican National Convention, Kamala Harris recently became an official candidate.

On July 27, she shared a photo on Instagram stating she had signed all the documents and was now an official candidate representing the Democratic Party. She further vowed to "work hard" to win the upcoming elections.
