Karrahbooo, a former Concrete Boys member, addressed her feud with Lil Yachty after the latter's viral Instagram Live session on August 22. Karrahboo responded to Yachty on her Instagram Live session on September 12, adding that there were two sides to the story and she wasn't able to tell hers because she was silenced.
"“I’m being silenced, 3 months… There’s 2 stories, the truth and cap, which story y’all think imma tell," she said.
She didn't elaborate more on her statement, giving people the impression that she was unable to speak about it. But her Instagram Live left people hoping her silence could end soon. In an earlier Instagram live that same day, she thanked her fans for supporting her, adding that she was doing well.
This followed Karrahbooo's exit from the Concrete Boys, which Yachty confirmed on social media on July 29.
“I’mma say this s**t one time. We have split ways with Karrah as far as this Concrete s**t. I have nothing bad to say, nothing negative to say about Karrah. I wish her the best in her career,” Yachty said on an Instagram Live session.
Lil Yachty claimed he was Karrahbooo's ghostwriter
Karrahbooo, who was initially Lil Yachty's assistant, took an interest in rapping and gained success after her freestyle verse on On The Radar. In 2023, she signed with Yachty's label. She also became a part of his Concrete Boys group.
In July 2024, fans noticed that Karrahbooo stopped appearing on the Concrete Boys' social media pages, and the group removed her from their Instagram bio.
On July 29, Yachty announced that they had parted ways and that he had no desire to talk more about the situation. This came to a head after a fan on X posted that Karrahbooo alleged Concrete Boys kicked her out of the group.
On August 22, Lil Yachty went on an explosive rant on Instagram Live that first started with him addressing a viral clip of him and his podcast co-host Mitch. Soon, the conversation turned towards Karrahbooo, with Yachty accusing the female rapper of being manipulative and lying.
“Tell people how you verbally abuse people. Don’t get on here to make it seem like n****s kicked you out… bullying you? Bro, go ‘head and tell people how you talk to people… You talk to people like they’re small, like they’re beneath you," he said
"This the problem with you new artists. Y’all get poppin’ online and then you become more popular than your actual music. You $900,000 in the hole and I got every f**king receipt,” he continued.
He also alleged that he wrote all of her freestyle verses, claiming that she was disrespecting him despite owing her career to him. Following this, Yachty and Karrahbooo were involved in a war of words on social media, with the latter highlighting three songs she reportedly penned and pointing out their streaming numbers on August 23.
She asked Yachty to stop lying and leave her alone. The next day, she seemingly brought up the ghostwriting allegations during her performance at the Dig in Day Festival. While performing her songs, she constantly asked the crowd "Who ain’t write it?”
On August 25, Yachty clapped back at the rapper's antics, posting “Don’t throw rocks and hide your hands" on his Instagram stories. Karrahbooo replied with:
“I never threw rocks and u have my number you big grown b**ch. Leave me alone literally @lilyachty. I never said nothing about s**t and I still ain’t say nothing ’bout what’s really going on. I don’t want no beef wit you industry people. Just move on wit ur life. Stop tryna bring me down when I stay out the way. I’m done talking. You got it. Yo character gone speak for itself.”
On September 12, she hopped on her Instagram Live session to claim she had been silenced.
