Singer and actor Tyrese Gibson recently blamed Trump supporters for allegedly spreading rumors about him being present on the alleged "Diddy tapes." Earlier this week, Gibson appeared on an Instagram live session where he also claimed that the MAGA supporters allegedly discouraged him from "speaking out."

Gibson claimed that while he had been to parties that Sean "Diddy" Combs organized, he was never on any compromised tape. During the live session, he said:

"There is no such thing as a Diddy tape, literally. I wanna tell y’all that I’ve been to some of the most legendary parties, I got no regrets. If you’re from L.A. and you’ve been to these parties, you would know that Diddy always had the most legendary parties that were always star-studded."

He further added that, allegedly, like many other celebrities, he had been to Diddy's parties. Gibson continued to allege that those who had attended the parties and were silent may have something to hide. He further went on bashing the Trump supporters and said:

"There is no such thing allegedly as a Tyrese-Diddy tape. That is a bunch of Donald Trump n****s in my comments, trying to discourage me from speaking up and speaking out."

Tyrese Gibson had previously defended Diddy after the latter's houses got raided in March

This wasn't the first time Tyrese Gibson shared his take on Diddy and the allegations against him. After the feds raided Diddy's place in March, Gibson extended support and defended the music mogul. In a now-removed post, Gibson offered emotional support to the mogul.

In the post, he wrote:

"I don’t condone nor do I support abuse, bullying, s*xual assault or anything that is currently being alleged. But what I can’t do is turn the blinds on how much this meant to me and all of us, and what he has done for the community of music and culture."

Elsewhere in the post, Tyrese sent prayers to Diddy, his family, and all the alleged victims. The Fast & Furious actor further mentioned that Diddy had always been "kind and generous" to him. He ended the post by addressing Combs directly and mentioning that he was there to support him and was just a call away.

The criticism from the MAGA supporters reportedly began after Tyrese Gibson endorsed Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election. Along with supporting Harris, Gibson had also criticized Donald Trump publicly. Earlier this month, in a now-removed video, Gibson called Trump "unhinged" and also claimed that he was unfit to be a President. He wrote:

"The current damage that he [has] created and the soon-to-be project 2025 (look it up on YouTube ) and all the residual damage to come has nothing and has no place in our America."

Gibson even claimed that he believed Trump would be arrested once the campaign and rallies were over.

As for Diddy, the 55-year-old rapper is detained in federal custody in Brooklyn. In September 2024, he was indicted with racketeering conspiracy, s*x trafficking, and transportation to engage in prostitution.
