Youtuber and content producer Charleston White recently defended Sean “Diddy” Combs during his appearance on the Bad Speakers podcast released on October 4. He claimed that so many details were made public about Diddy in the wake of his ongoing legal troubles, making it seem like the feds wanted to ruin Combs’ reputation.
“They already marinated us to turn against him. Two years prior just leaking information about him. Leaking stuff about him. So, they already prepared us to turn against him,” White claimed.
Charleston further shared how Diddy’s own people have now turned their backs on him, including the Black community, like they did with former comedian, actor, and convicted s*x offender Bill Cosby.
He went on to call them out and asked them to “hold up” and not fall for the Bad Boy Records owner’s character assassination scheme that has reportedly been going on. The influencer added that if Diddy wanted to “fight” he should be allowed to do that and his friends, family, and community should stand by him.
Exploring more on Charleston White’s latest remarks about Diddy
During his latest interview with G. Downs and Ya Boi Shad for Revolt TV podcast Bad Speakers, internet personality Charleston White got candid about Diddy’s recent arrest and federal indictment.
He went on record to say that federal authorities have been portraying Combs in a bad light for the past couple of years by “leaking” things about him and trying to damage his reputation and character.
White continued by claiming how alleged victims of Combs such as his former girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura never went to the police or complained against him. He also mentioned how two, three years ago, Diddy stood on the Grammy Awards stage and demanded that the “white folks executive” treat the Black folks “better” and later shook hands with them.
Charleston further alleged that Diddy’s ongoing legal issues had something to do with his feud with British multinational alcoholic beverage company and brand builder Diageo, and how they took over two of his alcohol brands, Ciroc vodka and DeLeon tequila. He added the “English preyed [on] the non-white boy” while the White folks continued to “party” with him.
For those uninitiated, Sean Combs joined hands with Diageo to market Ciroc vodka in 2007 and later jointly acquired DeLeon tequila in 2013. However, Puffy accused the company of underpromoting his products “because he is Black” and filed a lawsuit in May 2023.
Later, in January 2024, it was settled outside court, with Puffy withdrawing all the accusations against the company and voluntarily dismissing his legal suit “with prejudice.”
Both parties have ever since been relieved of any business partnerships, and Diageo now solely owns DeLeon.
Notably, Charleston White is not the only person who recently claimed that the feds were trying to assassinate the character of the Love Album maker. Earlier this month, on October 6, the hip-hop mogul’s mother Janice Small Combs shared a statement through the family’s law firm.
“It is truly agonizing to watch the world turn against my son so quickly and easily over lies and misconceptions, without ever hearing his side or affording him the opportunity to present his side. These lies thrown at him are motivated by those seeking a financial gain, and not justice,” part of the statement read.
She further shared how to make matters worse, the federal government was now using “lies to prosecute my son,” adding that it has been the worst “ordeal” to watch her “beloved son be stripped of his dignity, not for what he did but for what people choose to believe about him.”
Ms. Combs asked the well-wishers to support Diddy and allow him the chance to tell his side, his truth, and be vindicated, adding her son is not the “monster” the world has “painted” him to be.
